Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Nail Color - 555 Gold Play Nail Polish Women 0.31 oz

This polish dries faster than most, seems durable and works well on it's own. However I like to add it as top coat to reds and other colors to give a bit of sparkle. On 1st coat it's a little sparkle and next coat is wow! I have tried 3 coats but think 2 is the amount of bling I prefer. One of my fave polishes!!

Pros: Gorgeous shade of teal, still shiny even though it dries matte, dries faster than other SH Insta-Dri shades.Cons: A little on the thin side of coverage.-----I absolutely adore this shade and this brand of polish! It almost perfectly matches my hair and has such a lovely sheen in spite of being matte (I am not a fan of matte colors, overall, but this one is a good middle ground.)The only negative of this polish is it goes on pretty light, so one coat is definitely not enough (the pinkish of my nails showed through). Instead of adding multiple layers, I applied a base of SH Insta-Dri in Silver Stallion first and then one coat of Smoldering Teal and it worked like a charm!

The media could not be loaded. My daughters love their fancy nails. I use different polish and decals but also like to add a bit of silver or gold on one or more nails. This one is a nice gold glitter with the small and larger gold flecks. I also love an inst-dri for kids!

I was really hoping this polish would be nice and thick and only need a couple of coats to get full coverage. No such luck. It is very sheer, even multiple coats will not make it a more solid color, it stays see-through. I did discover that it is very good at changing the look of other paint colors. I painted my nails red, then did 2 coats of this polish on top and it turned my nails a vibrant purple/red that I actually love. It does indeed dry fast, which is nice. If you're looking for a nice thick polish that covers in 1-2 coats, this isn't it. If you want something sheer with some sparkle and color changing magic, give this a try!

The media could not be loaded. It’s a matte finish gold. Needs atleast 2 coats to be visible and looks a bit yellowish when dry.

They are not kidding. This stuff truly does dry so fast. Impressive.I am the worst at painting my nails and then almost immediately every time, dinging them or smudging them even after sitting for what I feel is forever to let them dry. This, looks great, goes on smooth and dries in a couple of minutes. Dry to the touch. Tip: the clear top coat of the same variety is super amazing at quick drying as well. Maybe even faster than the color.I even had to quickly cover a nail one time that had broken and I was leaving the house in a hurry, but I looked down and couldn’t even handle it so I grabbed this stuff, put only one layer on which is also awesome that it’s strong color, and it totally blended in and dried in the time it took me to get back in the car.Satisfied customer.

This is absolutely the most awful nail polish color ever. It says Matte...it went on really pretty and with in a minute it was flat, and looks like someone attempted to remove a coating. NEVER would I have purchased if I'd known. The color it shows on the site is a pretty shiney color.

I mix my own polishes every week so I purchased this as a sorta top coat to go on right before I put on the sealant (the actual top coat). I sometimes want to add gold glitter to my polishes and had been having a rough time finding just the right one.After reading the reviews, I decided to try this one (Sally Hansen has long been my favourite brand of polishes - they’re super easy to mix). I was super pleased! It was exactly what I’ve been looking for in a gold glitter top coat!As a side note, I noticed some people were stating you have to use multiple coats if you want an overall glitter look. For a one coat gold glitter look, I would strongly urge you to try Sally Hansen Mega Strength 020 Wild Card. I purchased mine here on Amazon and absolutely love it. 💖
