Makes it easier to dial in the pressure you want. Its fairly accurate I still had to play with mine to get it at the 12 lbs I wanted but they work good. If I had it to do over I think I would get the non pro ones. unless you just want to use their preset settings. **Q: I have a 2500 truck and usually drop my tires to 15-20 psi on the beach but my tires are at 70 psi normally wiLl this damage them at all** A: These should work fine for what you want to do. But it may take a while for them to drop you from 70psi to 15psi. You may want to look at a valve stem removal tool kit. Much faster.
