Ive bolted them to steel with no issues. The quality of them is fine, no issues. They're not super hard/tough steel but they're decent for their purpose. If you're using them for something real heavy id try to reinforce them if you can. However these are the best side-attached legs I've found on amazon for something heavy

Safe and secured table support easy fit.

I was concerned at the start as my fish tank is 4 foot long and 300 ltr of waters plus the weight of the unit but it has done the job and leveled the whole thing up perfectly.

Used them on the kid's snooker table for levelling. Brilliant!
