YogaDirect Nylon Yoga Mat Bag

This bag is perfect for the occasional yogi. I go to yoga once or twice a week and this yoga bag holds my mat and my yoga clothes. While it's not the sturdiest bag in the world, I think it will work for the next couple of years. I'm very happy with this bag, especially because the price was so great. It's nice to be able to quit tying my yoga bag up with an old string! If you're thinking of getting this bag but aren't sure, go ahead and get it. I was afraid that at that price it would totally fall apart but it's working great. Love the color selection too - I got mine in Aqua Green.

This bag was just what I was looking for to hold my extra-thick yoga mat. The smaller bag fit ok too, but it was a very tight fit. With this one, it's a more relaxed fit, and I don't have to roll the mat as tightly to squeeze it into the bag. I haven't had it too long, but the mesh and nylon seem pretty durable. If you're looking for a nice, basic bag, you definitely won't find a better one for this price.

UPDATE as of 5/31/22 - I bought another of these and have now lowered my rating from five stars to four stars because although all of things I liked about the first one I purchased several years ago are still true this one is slightly different. For unknown reasons, this new one is about an inch or so shorter than the prior one. Both the old and new one will properly hold a standard sized yoga mat . . but it's distinctly more difficult to get the mat into or out of the new bag. My original review is shown below: I needed something to carry my yoga mat on my bike, gave this a try, and it works pretty well. I have a Jade Harmony extra long, standard thickness mat and the fit is perfect. There is a little inside pocket that you can use to put credit cards, keys, etc. inside, however, this little pocket doesn't have a zipper so it is possible that whatever you put inside it can get loose. That wouldn't be a disaster because whatever got loose would still be inside the bag and wouldn't get 'lost'. It does, in fact, work to carry across your back in case you want to ride a bike with your mat although it does slip around a little and needs some occasional adjusting to keep it centered across your back. The description of this items says that it is 72" in length when it is actually only 27" in length. Clearly a typo. Amazon should correct this description because I needed a bag longer than 27" and I would not have purchased it if I had know that it was only 27" long. Unfortunately it gets one star for that reason. However, I will say that if you need a bag this size it appears to be okay.

This is a very nice bag for the money. It holds my 74" Jade Harmony mat, my 8' yoga strap and a pair of toe-less yoga socks. I will be purchasing another 8' strap and it will fit as well. The fit is tight, but it does hold it all. I like the mesh middle as it lets my mat air out a bit. I'm very happy with this bag. I got the black to go with my olive green Jade mat. If you're looking for a bag to fit blocks, clothing or a yoga towel in addition to the straps and socks then this is not your bag.

This is a great yoga bag. I bought a black one for myself, pink one for the girlfriend. I don't actually do a whole lot of yoga, but I use the mat when I do ab exercises. I have zero problems putting my mat in the bag or taking it out. I've read that some other bags are a tight fit, but that's no issue with this bag. Plus, with the middle section being nicely netted, it lets the bag air out in between uses. Wouldn't want my mat getting moldy in a closed off bag. The strap is nice, according to my girlfriend. I don't really take the mat out anywhere, so I have little use for it, but she says it doesn't bother her shoulder/arm at all when carrying the bag a few blocks to the gym.

I purchased this bag to use with the "YogaAccessories (TM) 1/4'' Extra Thick Deluxe Yoga Mat" and the bag is too small to fit the mat. I have tried and tried to role the mat tight enough to fit into the bag and it simply doesn't work. I can just barely stuff the mat into the bag, but there is *absolutely* no way to zip up the bag. So, for this particular mat, the bag was a complete waste of money.

People are exactly correct:"I bought this to fit on a super thick mat. It did not fit. Turns out it was too long for the bag, which will only fit standard width. It does fit 1/4 inch thick though. but only in standard width. And it is a tight squeeze. Mine is 1/4 inch, 24 wide and 72 long and it is a struggle to get it in there." Unfortunately I didn't read that comments before I did submit an order

So far my mat fits perfectly. There is still room for a small towel and other small items that I might need to carry with it. I do wish it has a side pocket and opens more wider as it was a little bit of a struggle. Other than these, it works fine for me. I love the mesh for air out.

Works great, love the extra pocket on the side. I have a thick 6MM thick 72" extra long yoga mat and it fits in here just fine, even when I do a loose roll-up. Would recommend.
