I’ve always associated ascots to stuffy European men of a certain age, but then I reached that age, had a couple social engagements requiring coat and tie, and took a chance with an ascot given the low price and low risk with Amazon’s return policy. I was very pleasantly surprised at the quality of the matching ascot with pocket square which received many complements from both men and women. A wonderful additional unexpected benefit is much higher comfortable loose knot which enables you to remain far cooler than a standard neck tie.
