If you are adding your own seeds to the mixture, then you could, but if you want to reuse the device just to spread your own seeds, then I don't think they will stick to surfaces. This product did an ok job and grass did grow on some slopes where seeds wouldn't stick before, but the grass is not very "sturdy" and seems to not have deep roots. **Q: Is this just 1 considering on TV or as seen on TV same 100 sq ft product is almost 1/2 this price?** A: It's almost half the price until they charge you extra shipping. I purchased the double offer as on TV for $19.95 from the website. Many pages of "please buy more", and the web version of "but wait!", they added $7.95 shipping. "Because they care about the environment", we received what amounted to be the size of a quart Ziploc bag 3/4 full of seed. On the invoice, they informed us also that the double offer was in one bag. :/ **Q: Is it the right time now to apply this product before snow falls or wait before spring time I need to know the effective results or outcome** A: Fall is always a good time to plant grass.....However, i would not purchase this product. It took 7 weeks for delivery. Mine came incomplete, and it comes with with very little grass seed. I got a credit from Amazon, but never heard from the vendor. When applied seed and chemical mixed fine still no results after 12 days ### ⭐⭐⭐ Could have been 4 stars *by D***. on July 16, 2022* So here’s my experience. 1. I followed the directions to the T. I made very sure the ground was prepped correctly(tons of work). I made sure I put the “mousse” packet in correctly, I made sure I filled the sprayer 3/4 full and let it set. 2. It didn’t look at all like the commercial or video on the main website, it is not that thick, green or sticky. That’s why 3 stars instead of 4. 3. The green “mousse” did not cover the ground in an obvious way like the commercial and while spraying, often it would just turn clear. I ended up spraying the same places more than once because I was concerned the seeds were no longer coming out. From the bare patches I have, I was right. Once it was obvious the mousse was gone, I stopped spraying. When I opened the sprayer, there were still a large amount of seeds floating in the water. 4. I watered 2-3 times a day without fail. 5. It actually grew pretty good after the first 8 days. 6. The patch I did was about 12x14, I should have had plenty of coverage, but didn’t. A second bottle would have been the ticket, but I was basing the area on what the product said. 7. Over all, not bad. Not as amazing as the commercial, but not bad. I don’t believe for a second that what they sprayed on the board and then turned upside down in the commercial is the same product they deliver. 8. I will probably buy another bottle for a smaller patch I have. 9. Oh, I put a fence around the area for the entire time, so there was no traffic on it at all. 10.
