Actual RAM is 3.7GB and storage is 59GBThere's no way to check for a software update or update the OS on this POSI purchased this tablet to play a single game which requires 2GB of RAM. My thought was 4GB is more than enough. Wrong! Not on this device.Game play severely lags causing you to take unnecessary damage, app crashes mid fight causing you to auto lose. Trying to keep this tablet going has been a headache and very frustrating. This was the only thing I was using it for.Once I realized that it couldn't handle my game I decided to give it to my 5 year old so she could watch Netflix and play kiddie games. Same issues. Constant crashes and error messages. Now I can't download anything at all from the play store. It crashes everytime.Last night I decided to give this thing one more chance. I did a complete factory reset so I could try to get Netflix working for my little girl. I wasted a good 2 hours resetting and reinstalling everything needed to get going initially. Post reset it worked fine for maybe 30 mins and then the craziness started again.Now no apps will open, play store won't update anything. This thing is a paper weight and not even fit for a 5 year old. Most people will get inexpensive tablets for their children, but you don't want to give your child this piece of junk. Your kid will hate you for it.I am not a person who typically writes reviews. I'll just drop a star rating and go on with my day. For the purchase price had this tablet actually operated as good as they made it sound then I would have given 5 stars all around. For me to take the time to write this long review shows how frustrated I am. I will never buy anything from this merchant ever again. If they sale crap like this I can only assume everything they sale is cheap China junk.
