If used for loc maintenance and this is your first time using a crochet needle you do have to get used to the feel and don’t just yank the needle out pull and wiggle slowly til the needle unhooks your hair or else your have weird loops that you’ll have to go back in and fix if you want your locs to look nice and uniform. Also if you use product wipe is off you’d hands before grabbing the needle because the needle handle can get slippery and it’s just small groves in the handle to you have to have a nice grip and a soft grip on your hair if you want you’d locs to come out nice.

Purchased to do a loc repair on my son's locs. Tool fit into the hand good but not the easiest to use. It may be user error but I was able to repair his thin loc. Overall worth the buy once you learn to use it properly.

This is a technique you gotta learn like crochet I got these tools so that I can save money and do maintenance on my own locks and it works is helpful you deafly will save a lot of money

This product does exactly what it it used for. I crotched my son's hair in about 8 hours two days but it did the job, great price too! I loved the wooden handles.

I love these hair tools. They allow me to maintain my own locs rather than pay someone else to do it. They're easy to use and very durable. I bought a couple of kits just in case I lost a tool or one broke, but haven't had to use the backups yet. Nice product!

The storage box was shattered, but the tools weren't damaged at all. I used the interlock needle today. Took FOREVER to do my hair, but it looks amazing and hopefully will last longer than just palm rolling. Haven't gotten the hang of the crochet hooks yet, but I really like the different sizes. Great little set of tools!

I am not sure whether it is the wrong size for my dreads but my hair kept on getting caught in it. So really there was no joy using this and it's no use to me either.
