Worked Great, Required some trimming
This universal replacement worked great. The self adhesive strips were too wide to fit in the plastic channel, but they were easilly trimmed to width with heavy duty scissors. Kit included parts to repair both sides. The adhesive gripped very well on the plastic channel and the metal AC unit. Original equipment replacement parts would have cost over $90, so this was quite a substantial savings

You can cut to fit with regular scissors! End pieces you can bend and cut.
Very nice- but only expands to 7 inches MAX. My AC is off center, so was having a hard time getting it to stick cos too small (maybe about an inch) went to dollar store and bought crazy glue double sided tape, and that solved the problem!

Very solidly made, but didn't fit my A/C unit
This product is very solidly constructed and seems as though it would last years in use, but unfortunately would not work with my a/c window unit as the mounting is too different from the panels that are on mine...

Great replacement for side panel repair
Great replacement to fix the side panels. My dog jumped through the side so I was happy to see if could purchase the Fridgeaire replacement on our unit.

Deceptive Description From A/C
I can say that there nothing wrong with the product. I purchased a 8000 BTU window air conditioner and the description said that I needed to purchase the window side panels as the air conditioner did not come with an installation kit. Well it did come with a installation kit so you do not need to purchase these panels unless you have a very large window.

The double sided tape did not hold for even 24 hours.
The double sided tape started unsticking less than 24 hours after installation. The panels fit well but no longer stay in place since the tape isn't working. Really disappointing given the price. Now I have to buy another type of tape or panels to use my AC effectively.

Worked perfectly on my ancient conditioner
I have a hand me down air conditioner from the 90s, (energy hog but the air is colder than any of my newer units) and this kit was a direct replacement for the bellows, they are white and the units trim is brown but I don’t care.
