Anything with chemicals, either naturally occurring or otherwise, that comes in contact with my skin comes with the possibility of a reaction of some sort. Almond Oil has made everything easier. Everything. I use it for all things skin related. It actually clears my pores (I use it with sea salt to wash my face). It fights dry skin and contact dermatitis without any steroids or thick emollients (which make you feel greasy or sweaty, especially if you're in a particularly humid climate). I think it might absorb better than my skin's natural oil, probably due to it's purity and lack of over- processing. I use it as personal lubricant, because it never becomes sticky and doesn't effect pH levels, but the consistent and natural moisture provides a barrier against odor- causing bacteria... and it's edible, flavorless, and safe for use with silicone. It keeps my scalp free of dandruff, and I rarely have problems with split ends, but it's a great leave-in conditioner, as well, and takes fly-aways without weighing down my hair (which is thick, fine, and strawberry blonde- so it very easily can be too oily or too dry. ) I even use it to grill steak, bake brownies when I want them extra moist, and oil frozen locks and squeaky door hinges. If I haven't replaced every other oil or moisturizer in my house yet, it's only because they don't sell it on tap yet. Try it. You won't waste your money, because you'll find something it does better than whatever else you're using.

It’s lightweight and has no fragrance. I suffer from migraines frequently and some smells can trigger them so this is super convenient. I like that it doesn’t trigger my sensitive skin and helps even with my eczema. I agree with another customer that says it leaves a beautiful glow on your skin. I used it in my legs and people complimented me. It wasn’t excessively greasy that makes you itchy or just desperate to run home and shower.

I loved this oil the first time I purchased it. It was colourless, odourless, non- sticky, and made the skin feel soft and moisturised. But the second time I purchased it had the golden colour. I don’t know what change the manufacturer made still the oil felt good

I am obsessed with this beauty oil! Let’s talk about how I use this item to grow longer thicker hair. I’ve been on my hair health journey for 6 months now, and this item is essential to my routine! Microneedling your scalp, creates microscopic wounds in the scalp, to regenerate the health of the hair follicles. This can result in new hair growth and can thicken thinning hair as seen in androgenic alopecia or male pattern baldness. I use the Koi Beauty derma stamp and set the needle dept to .7. It doesn’t hurt so don’t be scared to try! I mix the following items in a bottle to create my hair oil and concoction: .5oz organic castor oil 1oz organic pumpkin seed oil 1oz organic jojoba oil 1oz organic almond oil 1 dropper rosemary oil (optional) I apply the hair oil all over my scalp and through the ends of my hair. I then cover my hair with a disposable cap. I cover my pillow with a towel, and sleep with the oil in my hair overnight so that it can marinate. In the morning, I shampoo and condition my hair as normal. Not only is my hair, shiny and bouncy the next morning, but I love, knowing that I am investing in my future self by helping my scalp to grow stronger longer and thicker hair. Pro tip: replace derma stamp every 5 to 6 uses and don’t forget to disinfect your tool in between uses with isopropanol I do this routine once a week, usually on Sunday nights. I received phenomenal results so far, and can’t wait to see how much new healthy stronger and thicker hair. I grow after doing this routine for a full year.

I'm now a true believer of the healing properties associated with almond oil. I bought this about a month ago for myself after reading a UK Cancer blog regarding scalp care during chemotherapy. It recommended using natural oils (such as almond) to heal an itchy scalp. I haven't used it for that purpose yet as my hair is still in the thinning out stage. What I can tell you is that it has helped with the dry skin (from chemo) and breakouts from the steroid. I use this oil on my face after taking a shower. By morning, the redness and inflammation from the side effects are gone. My skin is calm. I don't have any dark circles under my eyes. I put some on in the morning before applying makeup. The makeup goes on smoothly. No dry spots whatsoever. Now, I do live in a tropical climate so I'm not sure how it will be for those who have to endure a harsh winter. I can only say that it doesn't block your pores (if you have oily skin) and it appears to be good for my aging combination skin. My skin loves it. A little goes a long way. I use more of it in the evening, but less in the morning before applying makeup so that it absorbs quickly. It has also helped soften my hands and feet. I rub it into my feet before I put my socks on. It has also kept my nails in good shape. I'm on my 4th of 12 rounds of chemo. I've seen no discoloration of the nails (but it's still early in the treatment). I just know that it will work for my itchy scalp once the hair is gone. I feel it working now on all my problem areas. I'm writing this review in hope that it will help others who are going through chemotherapy. The company really should consider donating sample sizes to the Cancer Society's "Look Good Feel Better" program. I know it will make others feel better. I honestly feel that this has helped my skin through this rough period. My 89 year old mother is also a big fan. I bought some for her as a gift. She's been using it daily and I've noticed that her skin is more vibrant. She's noticed that it helps smooth out her wrinkles. She uses it on her face and hands. I'm really glad I gave this product a chance. It's also great that it comes with a pump. It's easy to dispense. The only negative with the pump is that it sometimes leaks. It doesn't happen all the time. I've been placing a paper towel under the bottle just in case. It's nothing that would keep me from buying this product again. It really has saved my skin. It's also hard to find a product in this price range that works so well. I will continue to use it even after chemo.
