Additionally, I wanted room for the iPad charging accessories, for a small bottle of cleaner & a cloth, for my iPod, my cell phone, and my glasses (in a case). It was a little crowded, but it worked. I tried to add a small point & shoot camera, but there wasn't enough room for that.I took it on the plane with me. The padding is firm and on both sides of the device. The zipper keeps the iPad secure. There are two additional zippered sections for your other wires or wallets or whatever you need to bring along with you. You have the option of carrying this bag with the handles or using the shoulder strap. Both work well. This isn't a "girly" bag by any means, so I like that for my purposes. [I think most men who need a great iPad bag might like it too.] I use this both at home and for instances when I need to bring my tablet along with me outside of the home. There is one additional pocket on the back side that does not have a zipper. I use that to slide in my Amazon Basics iPad keyboard and case. It is just a bit too long (or tall), but it still works.
