Seems a bit delicate but got a secure connection with some heat shrink over the top.

Ridiculously flimsy with poor build quality. Look at it the wrong way and it breaks. This has to be one of the worst adapter cables I've handles with RF.Avoid at all costs.

If you are trying to adapt an older machine to a newer WiFi card, this is what you are looking for. Used this to upgrade the WiFi card in my ancient 2010 iMac without issue.

Works as should

First, what I received was manufactured backwards from the photos (male and female ends were aligned in the same direction instead of 180 degrees around the cable. Second, upon first use, the insulator/PCB that was integral to the u.FL end disintegrated inside my antenna pigtail, leaving behind the metal pieces with no good way to extract them. Garbage product.

There's not a lot of structural support on the bigger end.

Worked perfectly to retrofit a newer wireless chip into my older laptop

Like others have already mentioned, these are WAY too fragile. The itty bitty little PCB or ceramic board behind the U.FL/IPEX connector is too thin/small and practically snaps if you even look at it wrong. Tried to attach it to a GPS antenna I had and knowing ahead of time these aren't super durable I tried to be as super gentle as possible getting it attached but it just broke. Same with the second one.
