Giant World Map Poster – Mega-Map of The World – Front Lamination - 48 x 78

I was going to write a horrible review because Siam was not included. But then I realized Siam is only on the old Risk maps and it is, in fact, the country of Thailand. Seriously though, great map. It is very detailed but easy to read.

I've been looking for a large map to put in my room that has great detail and is aesthetically pleasing. Other maps I've come across are either poorly made material, not detailed, or obnoxiously colored. I plan to hang this on my wall and stick pins I've collected from around the world. This is perfect for it. The detail is amazing and the colors are vibrant. I've been shopping for a long time and this is the map for me.

I bought this for my 9 year old grandson for his birthday for his room. He has literally been around the world and has lived in and visited many different countries with his military family. When I gave this to him, the whole family loved it and was so impressed by its size and sturdiness and especially the details on the map, showing different countries with large lettering, and the relief feature of the mountains and seas completes it! I have been a map lover since little and I plan to buy one for my wall, too. Excellent choice, and I would recommend highly to others!

Actually. I do not know how it is because the packaging is so awful, I cannot get it out of the way-too-tight roll in which it has been sent. I will keep struggling, but when all else fails it is going to have to go back. After a rather long struggle I did finally get it out, but when trying to flattened it, it ripped very easily. All in all, I would not recommend this fragile material for so large a map. ADW

I was surprised at how large it turned out to be, but luckily the hallway wall in the alcove outside my office had room for it. It is full of color and is a truly stunning presentation of the whole world. With the rapid development of China, Russia, Eurasia etc., I wanted to become more familiar with places on earth. My previous map was from the Soviet period! This beautiful map will surely be a conversation piece for my colleagues and students.

LOVE this map for homeschooling. Hanging in our hallway, the kids randomly start conversations about locations. Great reference when learning. Purchased inexpensive white plastic to line the top and bottom (2inch overhang on sides). Gives a finished look. Highly recommend. Map is hanging on the wall using tacks. Plastic liner, purchased separately, hanging with 3m strips.

My husband and I are so happy with this purchase. We wanted a colorful accurate map to hang behind the crib in our nursery. It is very bright, colorful, large, and clear. All cities, towns, etc are easy to read and it seems to be accurate and includes Hawaii and New Zealand which some maps seem to be missing. Would definitely buy again!
