ZooGue Leather iPad Case Genius for iPad 2, iPad 3, iPad 4 - Black

Like many, I was overwhelmed by the number of case options available for my iPad 3, and underwhelmed by the quality and features of most of them. I wanted something that felt good, protected my device, and made it easier to use. The ZooGue had just the right combination of quality and usability for my needs. I love the feel of the leather, how it wraps my iPad, and the Velcro-based stand is highly usable. The auto-on/off when opening/shutting the case works like a charm, and I love how the stand is held in place when you're not using it, I would have liked a place to put my stylus, and I don't really need the elastic straps, but they don't really impact my experience much. I would definitely buy this again. Highly recommended.

We spent a lot of time researching before we purchased the iPad case and we agree with the consensus that this is the best case in the market. Very sturdy and well made, and the different angles very well as advertised. It is on the expensive side but I think is worth it.

I love this leather case. It's made very well. The only drawback for me is that if you have it sitting on your lap as shown in the pic, the velcro at the base can snag your clothes. I have to flip it the other way if I'm going to hold it on my lap. Other than that, I love it!

I bought this because I liked the flexibility of putting my ipad in any position to be able to view it (on a plane, laying down, sitting up, at the kitchen table, etc.) and this certainly allows for that. What I was not expecting was the significant increase in weight it added to my iPad - it feels substantially heavier than other cases. I guess the weight allows for superior protection of the iPad and this case CERTAINLY protects the iPad but I almost hate to get it out because it is so bulky it's like using a laptop. I just bought the smartcase to see if that works better for what I need and cuts down on the heaviness.

This is the second Zoogue cover I have purchased and I love them both. No other cover has the velcro which controls the angle to use the iPad and also stops it from jumping out of the grooves like the others do. I have already recommended this cover to my friends.

PRO: Velcro strap for around the headrest of car for kids. Just about any tilt angle with the velcro stand Con: the leather wears and doesn't have the same professional look.

This Ipad cover has everything we were looking for. It protects it well, has many nice features not found on other ones, looks like it will outlast that Ipad, and has a great price.

Love this case. My favorite one Pros: Well made Innovative design means infinitely adjustable angles are possible...great for airplanes or cramped areas when you just can't seem to get the perfect angle with preset angles on other cases. Strap for hanging iPad that doubles as hand strap is nice iPad stays in place very well Magnet in cover works as intended Cost comparatively reasonable Cons: Relatively thick in any configuration Somewhat flexible binding means that the cover can move around a bit when moving/holding the iPad, or when you're in the process of storing the iPad (e.g. putting it in a laptop case or bag) When iPad is open and cover is folded completely back, it does lay flat - but the same issue of the cover moving around makes it a little hard to hold. The folded back cover moves around when you're holding it. Suggestion: add 2 small sections of velcro that adhere to the two main soft velcro "tracks". Note: You can always move the strap provided to secure the cover when folded back, but that's a bit of a hassle to do every time you use your iPad. Overall I still love the case and have no plans to switch to another.
