Highly efficient, reliable, and quiet dehumidifier
We purchased this dehumidifier in May of 2024 and have used it continuously since that time. It works flawlessly. it removes gallons of water from the air every day and never once failed. It's quiet, doesn't leak, shuts off automatically when full and has adjustable humidity levels so you can control how dry you want your air. Honestly, it's perfect for my home which is around 2,800 sq. I have it placed in a hallway near the air conditioner return so it basically removes water from the air before it is sent back to the air conditioner. I think it has actually helped keep the house cooler and has definitely made my HVAC system more efficient. I highly recommend this product.

Wish I got it sooner
I had an old GE humidifier that started leaking after 8+ years of solid service. But, when it did start leaking I noticed something troubling: it had accumulated some kind of mildew/mold internally in a place not easily serviceable. And I realized this mold was probably being blown all over my finished basement where I work out of. So I decided to get a new machine thinking I had gotten my money’s worth out of the GE unit. What I was not expecting was how far dehumidifiers have come in the past few years. This unit is much quieter than my old unit. My old unit I had to shut off when I was going on calls. This new one just hums along adding a little bit of white noise. And it is maintaining a very dry 35% RH in my basement even when set to 40%. Very happy with this one. Would buy again.

Perfect!
Quiet, cool and space saving. Easy to empty the bucket. Keeps the humidity level.

Lasted until just after the warranty ran out.
It worked great for a while, Haier usually builds decent products, but as soon as the warranty ran out, the fan runs but the compressor no longer turns on and it will no longer pull any water from the air. It only pulls 45 watts, so I doubt if it is stuck in defrost mode. My other dehumidifier (GE) has been hard at work for 20 years with no problems.

Does what it should
This is a newer model of the same brand we purchased a few years ago from Walmart. It works well but of course it's not a quiet motor. It beeps when full and filter light blinks when it needs to be cleaned which is a good reminder. The water bucket though would be hard to clean as needed since there is no open space at the top to get your hand inside to wipe out. The top of our older model had open space on top of the bucket. That's the only drawback I have on this model. Just hope it lasts as long as our other one.

Great product
I love this line of products and bought one as a gift, it makes a difference if you are in a humid climate and you don't want to utilize your air conditioner to be your only humidity control. This allows me to circulate air with the fans and keep my A/C on a higher setting which helps with these crazy electric bills. Great product, I keep a small one in the bathroom as well, mold is one thing you don't want in your home.

Dehumidifying the Basement
This works well in our basement. I have it set to "Smart Dry" and it is running most of the time because our downstairs is humid in the summer. It is quieter than our last one, but honestly, all humidifers are pretty noisy. It is very easy to move around on its wheels. The container is quite small, and we empty it every day which is fine because then it doesn't have a chance to get slimy. I would recommend ordering this unit.

It Definitely Does Suck
I finally put this into commission when the summer heat and humidity landed upon us. I cannot believe how much water it pulls out of the air in such a short time.In the basement, we can have it directly drain, but upstairs to make things more comfortable, we have it collect in its basin and end up emptying it like every 2 hours or so. The handle to carry the basin is helpful and it slides in and out very easily when needing to be dumped. It's an astounding amount of water and makes a huge difference in how comfortable the house is. The temp may be the same, but when we have this going, it's the difference between being miserable and hot and just sticky vs. just being kind of warm, but still fresh feeling. It's a little loud, but then, everything is. And it works, so?
