This product is great, ships quickly (and free!), and does what it's designed to do and does that well. BUT, it's not a product for very beginner DIYers. When you work with this product, there are a lot of good practices associated with getting the right results - especially if you want that gorgeous mirror finish. This product takes at minimum patience and practice, practice, practice.That said, I used this to tackle my hallway, which is a mix of drywall and plaster. I had the company color match it to Sherwin Williams Tricorn Black; the bucket it comes in is shipped very securely, so no worries about it exploding or leaking.It sat unused until I was secure that I got as much application information from the company, plus hitting up YT for this specific product (there are a lot of videos on plaster application, some with conflicting information, which is why you'll need practice to find your groove). I had used similar products before but burnishing was new to me, and timing on that is critical. I even made notes that I reviewed often.Don't forget to also buy the primer, it's a must. The company also recommends a wax sealant to keep stains at bay. If you have tall ceilings, I would recommend using scaffolding over a ladder during application. Don't skimp on the trowels and add a mud mixer to your shopping cart, the product needs to be fluffed up and mixed prior to each round.

Ordered Mineral Alloy- it is very navy but dried to a beautiful blue! I am very happy with this product. Shipping was faster than estimated.

Need a sign on the box saying this side up. Need a better seal system around lid to bucket. The plastic wrap does help. But Need to figure something else out.It's a wonderful product. But. I'd try to figure something else out.

Works as advertised as long as you follow the instructions carefully
