GROHE 35110000 GrohSafe 3.0 Pressure Balance Rough-In Valve

Anti-scald shower valves have been around for a while but if you have an older home you probably don't have one. We've had three Grohe anti-scald valves installed and can't recommend them enough. No more burst of hot water while showering when someone flushes a toilet, or getting chilled with cold water when someone runs the washing machine. These are great for safety but the also make for a much more reliably comfortable shower. Grohe makes well engineered quality products. The last a long time and are easy to maintain. Best thing is the performance. This GrohSafe valve works flawlessly and pairs well with the cartridge and trim kit we purchased. I even have a Hansgrohe Rainshower handheld spray and we have zero complaints, a good shower and water savings without sacrificing anything.

Used this valve incident to new home construction. It’s exactly what the plumber needed for installing shower control valve.

Plumber installed it so I can’t speak to the installation. But it is working great with the Concetto valve trim in our remodeled bathroom!

Grohe is a great product. Unfortunately this came and was defective so I needed to return and buy at a local plumbing shop.

Can't remove flush plug, won't budge but more importantly this 'German' company now makes useless junk in China like everybody else. The machining work on hot and cold water connectors of the valve is ... subpar. Jagged edges, opening are too small, not sure what this is supposed to be.
