Great smooth taste.
Very good coffee, not acidity. Rather expensive but I knew that when I ordered. Would like a little cheaper brand but not the blended ones. 100% or nothing.

Great Product and Company
This product is fantastic, smooth and flavorful. The company really cares. After delivery I received a message from Jim, wanting to know my experience. Good people great product. It does not get better than that. Thank you all at Blue Horse. Sean

Some of the best coffee I've had in years.
I'm a bit of a coffee snob. I lived in Hawaii for a time, where I was able to get fresh Kona coffee in burlap sacks right from the source. I lived in Seattle for several years and coffee is a big deal there. I have had a horrific time finding coffee since I last had to move. It's been years since I've had good coffee. I LOATHE k-cups. I never had a good one (until now). All the so-called good brands have been terrible. Most are either too weak and can't make enough at a time or are bitter and acidic. Sometimes both. Most people can't tell the difference between "rich" coffee and BITTER coffee (here is a hint: cheese cake is rich, Mt. Dew is sweet - there is a similar difference between "rich" and "bitter" coffees) and so I hear rave reviews about garbage coffee (I'm looking at you, mermaid fans). I like good black coffee, but most I've found I usually have to use 2 k-cups at a lower water setting and then smother it in flavoring, cream, and sugar to get my caffeine. Where I work does not allow ANY exposed heating elements - no hotplates, coffee pots, toasters, or any other worthwhile culinary device. So work coffee is bring your own K-Cups (companies used to supply coffee, what's with these cheap SOBs?). I've tried a dozen brands trying to find a worthwhile k-cup, with no success UNTIL NOW. The blue horse makes a very good 8-10oz cup of rich, but not bitter, black coffee. Maybe my palate has gone to waste. Maybe my standards have dropped after living in the post-Starbucks coffee Apocalypse, but from what I can tell, this is quite good. It's not as good as living there, but it reminds me of what real coffee is supposed to taste like. It's expensive, but if you're a coffee snob stuck living somewhere that Red Lobster is considered "fine dining" this stuff is probably the best k-cup you're going to get. I plan on ordering some of the Blue Horse beans for home use to see how it turns out.

Good dark coffee
Smooth Dark coffee without the dirt taste. steady caffeine with no jitters. I think it's a good price if it were under 20, otherwise there's many other good coffee in my list that I will stick to.

maybe not best in k cups but really amazing customer experience
I am not sure if k cup is just not optimum but for the cost and 100% kona we were disappointed that the coffee was not to the level we have had previously with kona and even kona blends I modified my review because Blue Horse reached out to me immediately. I am sure the whole beans are outstanding and I will try them next. I am a forever fan and thank you for reaching out!!

Good but not great.
Good for normal coffee, but not the great pure Kona experience we were hoping for, and frankly paying for. Still had bitter notes. It's possible it was our batch.

True to Kona
This coffee is an authentic Kona and it tastes like it. Has a rich flavor but the characteristic Kona smoothness makes it a wonderfully refreshing flavor. All with the convenience of individual serving. Mahalo and much aloha to the growers and owners.

McCafé
I am 80 and have been drinking coffee for a very long time! These were OK at best, but not worth the price. We like the flavor of McCafé the best, and its $2.50 less per pod!
