Sweet and savory. These are some of my favorite candies! It’s the best strawberry gummy you’ve ever had in your life with a salty/savory coating. It’s also one of my favorite things to put out for Halloween- it’s a little different from the usual Hershey and nestle garbage.

I am a big fan of Vero's candies, and order them frequently for my classroom prize box. My 7th grade students don't like the tamarind flavor as much, but this strawberry is sweet enough to be a good introduction to spicy candy.

Or the real question is, why did I purchase it knowing I would not be able to contain myself from eating the whole bag!!! When me and my sister were kids back in the early 90's living in San Diego, CA, the ice cream truck man would drive through the neighborhood (Mr. Cruise was his name). He sold these for $.05 a piece. It was the best candy next to baby lucas that he sold. When I moved up North, none of the states had this candy. But Amazon just had to have it and I just had to buy and had to eat it. Cannot believe it came in the mail today, and I am only down to 28 pieces!!!! This candy is sooo good and very addictive that you cannot just eat one at a time. I have been doing extremely well the past month with my caloric goals of no more than 1800 calories per day while cutting down body fat to a whopping 3,540 calories TODAY due to this candy!!! Why Amazon why did you sell this knowing it was my weakness!
