The height with wheels, but not the top handle is about 21 1/2". The top handle sticks up another 3/4" - so it's pretty close to specs depending on your airline. I'm wondering about KLM myself. For that airline it would be good if they don't include the top handle. **Q: Has anyone taken this on american airlines internationally? they are saying the exact dimensions of the bag must be 22 x 14 x 9. bag is 9.5 not 9.** A: I had no issues traveling to Europe with this bag. **Q: can the 20" piggyback on the 25"?** A: There’s an elastic strap on the back of the 20” bag. That strap slides over the handle of the larger bag and lays sideways on top of the larger bag. The wheels are smooth to roll. The primary selling point for me was the “Stack It” feature whereby it can be stacked horizontally onto another carry-on bag. I typically travel with two carry-on’s and two checked bags and this will make it so much easier wheeling the carry-ones through the terminal! There are only two minor negatives I have with the bag. - First, although the overall height and width are virtually identical to my other carry-on… the actual body is a tad shorter and the wheels sit taller…. meaning there is a bit less baggage space for packing items. - Second, the built-in usb socket is USB-A and not USB-C. This is t really an issue at all but it might be worth knowing. A simple solution is simply to get a USB-A to USB-C charging.cable for those to want to use it.
