Yes it does so does your batterys nd controller nd case is very sturdy i would highly recomend it

foam is cut to the standard controller

Q: Is there anywhere to store spare propellers?

No dedicated storage. However I just place spare props on top of the controller. It is held very secure by the foam, so will not move and damage the props.

Q: Will it hold the new dji rc controller ( the one with the built in screen) without any modification

No, this particular case will not accommodate the new or old controller with screen. The cases that do have a removable section that allows you to accommodate both types of controller, with screen and without. If you look for a case that's for the DJI mini 3 Pro you should see what I mean.
