Great value for the money spent. A great feel in hand and writes very smoothly. Beautiful.

Good balance, the nib writes well, especially for an inexpensive pen. I would recommend this to someone who is interested in trying a fountain pen OR for an inexpensive pen to carry.

These are just beautiful. I got the red for me and liked it so much that I ordered the turquoise and the purple. Just vivid colors with fun accents. I got the rolling pens (I have Waterman fountain pens and barely use them, so not gonna buy more fountain ones.) I prefer the fine point, so I ordered those refills as well. If you want an attractive, affordable rollerball or ballpoint (or, yeah, fountain pen) I can recommend these for their beauty. I hope they make more colors and designs. (I also got a plum animal collection Pilot for hubby, as I thought it looked nice and masculine without being dull.) A really cool pen.

Writes and looks great.

I received the item on time that is the only good thing that I can say about my order. I opened the pen and the case that it came in was super dusty on the inside and when I took the pen out to write with it the pen did not write. Needless to say I was pissed off and requested a refund immediately. Buyers beware you may receive the same defective item.

Its a great pen and of course pilot. But be warned: I like to move around and have it in my pocket so the paint will scratch easily. So keep it in a more normal place and treat it more delicate than a regular pen but not like a super fancy one either.

The Pilot MR Retro Pop Gel Roller Pen in red has a nice feel- but heavy, and the cap stays put on the end of the pen whilst one is writing. These are the good points. However, if it is used for an extended time, it will begin to feel heavier and heavier as you go. Also, the color is disappointing, it is washed out and is a pale, sort of orange hot-house tomato color. Overall I find it middle-of-the-road when the price is set against aesthetics and performance.

Writes smooth-a little on the heavy side but I love it none the less
