I wanted a small bodycam that could clip onto my arm-band phone case and this successfully does that! Only 3 inches in height, so def compact and it is very light weight, do not even notice that it is on my arm. Plan to use it on my dog walks and want to have video/audio proof in case of some kind of interaction with other people/vehicles, as I have been almost hit by cars that are not paying attention and I know of a friend that was threatened by someone else when out walking their dog! Video/Audio proof would have really helped him Video: The video itself is very clear and picks up sounds very well. It does everything that I want it to do. Downside: No video stabilization! But for the price, I didn't expect that, nor really needed for my application. So far very pleased and would recommend it

I need to take pictures of certain hostile people who constantly cross my path. But I want my camera hidden and be under the radar or normal people. This camera is great for that purpose! I love the price too! This films nicely when I'm in my car from any angle I want, as a dash mount only videos the front, and the garmin only films from one angle. I can hold this in one hand as I steer the steering wheel and still be legal under the hands free law. And I can point this thing any direction, and not look sus myself. This is the best camera to remain hidden, as it's very inconscipsous when i clip it to my pocket. or leash or bookbag. I love this thing. It's very easy to open and view the files on my desktop. The one thing I had to learn is to make sure the thing is switched to 'off' when i view the files. The only thing I wish is that the time stamp file was more easily downloaded. it downloads directly to google docs, then google docs automatically zips 'nothing' and makes it impossible for me to access the file. So I'm emailing help support for that.

I wanted a small, discreet camera to use on our dog walks because, if an untoward incident occurs, video evidence is better than recall. I had to send for info to apply the time/date stamp, as I could not download the text file from the boblov website. In the text message (yq_config_file) I received, I changed to the correct time and date. With the camera connected to the computer via the USB cord, I then saved the revised text file to the USB file (F: drive, in my case, Windows Vista). Time will tell about durability, but so far: Pros: (1) It’s small (75 mm x 26 mm x 15 mm) and black so as to not be easily noticed. The small flashing light is to the side, not the front. (2) A 64Gb TF (micro SD) card is included. (3) It takes good video (1080p at 30 fps). (4) The audio is surprisingly good for such a small camera. (5) It does a good enough job in low (indoors) lighting, and seems okay in drizzly rain. (6) Our dog walks last 60-75m, and the camera is still running at the end. Cons: (1) The instructions say (a) video recording: flashes blue (b) charging: flashes chartreuse To my aging eyes, these appear to be reversed in my camera. (2) I needed to revise the clip after the camera fell off my sling pack strap while I was shoveling snow on a walk. Good thing I felt my strap and looked back. There it was­--lying on the sidewalk! Back home, I cleaned the clip. Then using one-sided sticky Velcro, applied rough Velcro out (facing camera body) on the outside clip. It seems to have helped retain the camera better. REVISION (3.25.24): Well, initially, I liked the camera very much. I even bought another one. Now, I have to downgrade my review from 5 stars to 3 stars because in varying (not so much) outdoors lighting, the video would go almost dark, like the darkness of dusk just before nightfall. I thought it was just the one camera, but the 2nd one has the same problem. If I can see pretty well with my aging eyes, I expect the video camera to record almost as well as what my eyes saw. Revision 6.30.24. I like the camera, hence now 4 stars. The biggest drawback is that the clip alone is not enough to hold the camera to a sling strap. I would suggest Boblov include a lanyard. I lost one of my cameras on a dog walk when I stopped to cut tall weeds.

After 5 months of use, 20-30 hours a week (I use a small power bank with it and have both in my pocket) it's still going strong, even after dropping it and cracking the lens. I did just buy another even though the picture wasn't effected too much with the crack, but I'm anal. Tried 3 other cameras, all others were sent back. I drive rideshare and use this if there is a false allegation against me. Pic quality is great, but I compress it down for storage on an external hard drive. Adding the date/time stamp is really not a big deal, just follow the instructions on the web site. They provide the information in the package and I think it's on the listing page too.

Well, I bought this camera and I don’t have an app and I can’t download it. this camera and I don’t have an app and I can’t download it. I can’t watch any videos or anything on my laptop. I got a HP laptop and his past return date. I haven’t even tried to use it till I’ve been trying to download it for a couple weeks and I gave up but it’s past the return date and I bought another one from y’all supposed to come to mall, I would like to return the other one it’s not been used. It’s just passed a return date. My wife passed away in May and I’ve been real busy if you understand, I’ll send it back in the box just like I got it if I can get a refund, please.

Most of the reviews here match my experience and the description of the product well. I was impressed with the wide frame of the camera and like others said the microphone is incredible. However, it did bounce around a decent amount while on the top of my jeans trying to hide it a bit. I had no issues with the clips (the mounting clips of the device) when putting it inside my jeans and using the clip on the front. I liked that the microphone was built at the top of the camera to help someone put it on their belt line or in a pocket somewhere. I thought the night usage looked fine. But, I am in the middle of a small-mid-sized city where there are street lights every few houses from each other. I did return it and get a replacement because the time stamp did not update. It did not work on either which makes the device worthless for me. I followed all of the instructions in the guide, on their website, tips on Amazon, and downloaded the extra file. I also reached out to their customer service team and after 2 days, I still did not receive a reply. I did not reach out via social media like one review here suggests because I am not willing to do that. I did find that it won't show that it is done charging if there is not an SD card in it. I thought it was just taking 700 hours to do the original charge. When I got the replacement, I left the SD card in, and it was fully charged within about 90 minutes. This was a dangerous find: When I did the formatting of the SD drive to remake the files myself and test it, I forgot to copy them or screenshot first. I found that pushing the reset button on my camera (1st one) brought back almost 100% of the files, including pictures and video I had already deleted manually and in the formatting. I find that to be dangerous for security purposes. The replacement user guide had definitely been updated even though it said the same thing. The verbiage in it was improved slightly here and there. For perspective - I spent almost 6 hours messing with the time stamp trying to get it fixed. I have a degree in Web Design & coding of it, so I understand what I’m looking at here. Make sure, like another review suggests, that you delete the extra space/s in the timestamp file(s). The other review who suggests a battery pack would work for battery issues was correct in that need. The battery lasted about 3.5 hours when on video recording non-stop. I experimented with my own SD card, too, and not the one provided, but I cannot get an correct timestamp whatsoever, so I’ll find another model. If I figure the timestamp out, I will update this review. This would also be a great device if you just need an audio recorder. The microphone is excellent. The camera could use a bit of improvement with stability and I definitely miss my broken W2 that I loved, but this is a good camera overall and a good value for sure if you don't need a time stamp and won't be super active physically with it. It would work for going on walks or general need of a camera to cover yourself legally if anything should happen. I found both the original and the replacement to be consistent in functionality. Overall, a great value.

This is a great little camera. It works great for walking tours. You just strap it on your on your shirt. I actually use the eyeglass case that sits in the top pocket of my shirt and I just clip it onto that and I walked through I walked through cathedrals and reams France cologne Germany walk the cliffs some more I never ran out of charge. The charge left a long time so easy to download what you film and place on either a laptop, laptop or a surface pro works great perfect size.

Ist of 2of these. They need to eliminate the time stamp update or fix it.....does not work. Customer support is of no value, virtually non existent.
