TAJ Gourmet Brown Basmati Rice, Naturally Aged, 10-Pounds

Good, tasty rice.

I usually buy a medium grain brown rice (Nishiki) but I thought I would give this a try. I so like it, and it works well in some recipes since it is not as starchy as Calrose rice.

Brown basmati is my favorite rice, and this tastes as good as any I've bought at the grocery store.

Very disappointed. We have ordered this several times before and it was fine. This time the rice was stale and had a bad odor, even after thoroughly washing it.

The only rice I buy. Holds up well in long storage and cooks right every single time. An obvious asset for any emergency pantry too.

The only kind of rice I now cook and eat

Sorry but I didn't care for this rice. It cooked up fine, no problem there. But it had a very "green" taste to it that I couldn't mask with spices. Three stars because other people may not mind the "green" taste.
