My check engine used to be on and off due to the problem I had with the original part in my chevy aveo 2007. This new part fit perfect. looked exactly like the original one and fit just like a charm. It was a pain the butt to try to get to it because some other hoses had to come off and needed to the into the timing belt area to try and get to it.. It was a pain but once the part was in and secured and everything else was put back on, the car turned on just fine and the check engine light has not come back on.. Perfect part to a perfect ending of a mechanical problem. The mechanic would have charged me 100s of dollars and just forget the dealership. I did this my self with a little help for a friend and the end of the story is that I was happy that we did not get jipped with a cheesy pat. I will definetely buy this and other parts from this supplier...

Stock replacement for a crappy part
2nd cam sensor replaced on 2nd aveo in two months. For a non-moving part to fail so quickly, gm definitely has quality issues (car has only 26k miles). But this part fixed the problem.

This camshaft position sensor was installed on a 2000 Daewoo Lanos in response to OBDII error that specifically mentioned camshaft sensor is bad. After 3 hours of installing this, nothing changed and the code remained. We went ahead and replaced the Crankshaft sensor as we read it could trigger a similar code. Two crankshaft sensors were replaced and the check engine light was still on. This sensor is certainly not working!!
