Crock Pot Artisan Cast Iron Brazier Pan, 5 Quart (Red)

Purchased pot and I have put it through its paces. I have made soup, roasted vegetables, made a one pot casserole, and fried meat it in and everything has turned out beautifully. Heat distributes well and cooks evenly. I am very happy with the product. The price point is more than reasonable for the product.

Not only is this Dutch oven cheerful and gorgeous, but it cooks and cleans up like a dream. This is a must have for the sophisticated cook. And it's a fraction of the cost of the ungodly expensive brand.

Perfect condition. No defects, no cracks, no peels, no scratches, easy to remove burnt food at bottom too. Just leave it with water in the sink and wipes easily. I've used it to bake, grill, cook etc and its all good. Food cooks much faster too. I love it. Only that it's heavy :)

I think I prefer this to the Creuset version because of the square sides (more browning area) and nicer lid handle (steel instead of plastic). It seems as thick and durable with a good inside off-white enamel coating. The lid and main body colour match nicely and look really good as a set piece in the kitchen (Teal hombre). Considering this is 30% the price of the Creuset, even if it lasts half as long it is still more cost effective. So far no chips in the enamel, easy cleanup of inside (the enamel is slick), and the huge handles make picking it up with silicone oven mitts easy and confident.
