If you're going to cut a hole in your counter this is definitely the knocker you want! Super sturdy! And because it is very well padded on the outer rim it absorbs a lot of the blow which makes it relatively quiet when knocking espresso out!

Really well made. If Rattlewere makes other items I'll buy them. I liked the removable screws on the side for inserting into a tight counter cutout. And the gasket is great!

Black rubber has a strong toxic odor that transfers to whatever it touches. I'd like to see some independent NSF or UL testing to see if it's food safe please. Stainless quality is great. Make the rubber removable and food safe. then it's a 5star. Very expensive.
