These are a bit thin but does the job well. I put some foam off cuts at the top so as to spread the load a bit and they worked fine. A few bent when they hit harder ground but I just angled them a bit and they worked fine.

Good size and easy to use in soft ground. Holds a garden sheet down well.

I was having a problem with my 'Astro turf lawn' in high winds (lets just say the guy who installed it cut cucorners' I used these spicks along the seams to hold the astro turf down about 25 inches apart (tip, put them in the ground at a slight angel (About 30 degrees towards the general prevailing winds in your area for a better grip.

These arrived in a very scuffed bag which always rings alarm bells (a return perhaps).The green paint is worn off. The picture showed shiny green pegs that looked as if covered in plastic or thick paint. What arrived was pegs with green tips and much of the paint was missing. The actual pegs seem ok but only in soft and yielding soil.

These were exactly what I needed. They keep my ornamental birds in place
