Wheel of the Year Tarot Cards – May 8, 2011

I absolutely LOVE everything about this deck. The illustrations, the feel, the way they shuffle, the energy they give off. This deck is beautiful, shuffles like a freaking dream, and the cards are so easy to work with. Especially for the intuitive reader. They also pair VERY well with the "Starseed Oracle Deck" I just bought as well. I've never had a deck jump out at me the way this one did. It won't disappoint you!

I was extremely happy with this deck. I've been doing professional readings for around 22 years now, and have made my way through various decks. Some have become favorites, used and replaced year after year. Others I've used for a few months to expand my knowledge, then cast aside. This deck took my readings to a new level. I can't really explain how. Just something about it. I've had this experience with a few decks before as well. I always encourage my students to work with different decks after learning the basic meanings. This expands your knowledge, and as a reader you should be able to work with any deck after a while. Anyway, I love this deck. My clients have also been commenting on how beautiful and gentle it is. I chose the version with the names of the cards on it, as some of the cards are hard to identify by eye alone, ie the empress and the 7 of coins look very similar in imagery. So if you're thinking about purchasing this deck, I say go for the one with the names of the cards around the border. Love, love, love this deck!

This deck took some getting used to. First of all, I love the art work but some of the imagery fell flat for me in some readings. For instance, the devil card came out during a reading for an older, very conservative woman and she was started by the lusty couple, tangled up in the briar patch. ;) I have worked with this deck a lot and I'm finally seeing a connection. The 4 of swords card pictures a small woodland animal friend glancing over his little shoulder as he heads for his den for a long winters nap. Adorable! For the most part this deck is ok for beginners. I don't know if it's one I would suggest to learn with however...card stock is good. Shuffles well. I hate the borders but it's the typical white boarder with the titles in multiple languages. I want to trim them but the size is so perfect I didn't want to chance it. All in all, I love this deck and I use it a lot.

I LOVE this deck. Its my new fav tarot deck. Its so vibrant and the images are so direct and creative that you come up with different interpretations that give the reading a brand new and refreshing feel! I used this with clients and they loved this deck. Highly recommend! The card stock is not as thick, a bit thin but it makes the deck easy to shuffle.

I really love this deck. I had seen some of my favorite readers use this deck and finally decided to get my own. This is a colorful deck with easy to shuffle cards.

I was instantly drawn to this deck as soon as I saw the images of some of these cards on amazon as well as various other sites. Being an avid collector and reader of Tarot and Oracle cards for about 15 years now, I decided to wait a little while longer to see if I really, really wanted to get this deck. After about a week, I finally gave in to my intuition and bought it. ... And I have to say that this is one of the most lively, 'talkative,' user-friendly, and 'warm and fuzzy' tarot decks I've ever come across. The images and messages I receive don't make me as 'nervous' as some of the other 'serious' ones I own which is a nice little shift. NOT to say that this deck shouldn't be taken seriously at all, because these cards will just "jump out" at you and and make their messages known to you LOUD and CLEAR, lol! I think I made a wise choice, and this will probably be one of my favorite decks to use now.The only reason I gave it a 4-star rating and not a 5-star is because the cards are a little smaller and the paper is somewhat thinner than most of the tarot cards/decks I own. Might take me a little getting used to, but certainly NOT a huge drawback, IMHO. Though... if used extensively, I would probably have to replace it every few years or so, I'm not quite sure. ... But if that's not an issue for the many, many other tarot readers out there who prefer their cards to become soft and have that 'worn-out' feeling/look--than you have no worries at all! :)I would definitely give this colorful, cheery-bright, and animated deck a chance if you want a more 'friendly' deck of cards that absolutely loves to talk to you! I also believe this deck is an EXCELLENT choice for beginners! And once again... a more light-hearted, fun-filled experience and approach for the more seasoned and serious veteran tarot card readers out there. ;)
