Absolutely amazing. Not only does this enhance the looks of the weapon, the grip feels fantastic. Just wrapping my fingers around it feels natural, not bulky like some of the rubber finger grip models. I am missing my little finger on my shooting hand. These grips stabilize my grip. If I did have all my fingers, this grip would be great. I absolutely recommend these if you are looking for a comfort and stability in a grip without that bulky feeling. The checkering and relief work are fantastic. I paired these grips with gold grip screws from Cool Hand Customize Grip Screws. Be aware that you may need extra gaskets for the screws depending on your weapons screw base.The screws are long to accommodate for many different frames and the depth of these grips. Now for the the most important part. I own a Springfield armory full size 1911 .45acp Garrison. These grips fit perfect with no gap at all. As I said before, these feel perfect for me and stabilize my grip as well as my aim. SgtWall USMC

The woodgrain pattern is beautiful and they are finished nicely. I've read some reviews saying they don't fit well but mine fit excellent and line up just fine. I bought these to replace my stock grips and it made a great improvement aesthetically and functionality.

My unit came with striated rubber grips. There was nothing wrong with them, were quite comfortable, but I love the look of wood grips. Saw several on Amazon that looked very standard, and were quite beautiful, but I came across these and loved the idea of the sculpted finger grooves. They came in and looked beautiful. They installed easily, but there was a little bit of an edge where the halves meet in the front of the grip. Did a little very careful scraping the insides of the edges, reinstalled, and they are perfectly seamless now, cannot feel the joint. Also had to remove some material from the top of the right grip. I have a very long, extended ambidextrous safety, and the right safety lever (for lefties) would impact the wood grip, making it harder to engage. Filed that area less than half a milimeter, and now it is perfect. May just depend on what you fit them too. Feel great at the range, love these grips!

These are nice. Provides a solid grip. Had to do a little trimming but nothing crazy.

High quality construction, superior fitting. No seam gap. Stain finish closer to red mahogany than standard rosewood. Checkering and engraving professional as expected. Recognize the widened finger groove grip changes the thumb release position and length to quickly operate the slide and to exchange magazines. This style requires larger hands similiar to any modern DA/SA semi-auto grip design such as Hogue. Value for cost, superb.
