Great for littler kids
It is as advertised. Though the boat doesn't stay together as well as ide like. It works well and my kids enjoy playing it. They are three and six. My 8 yr old doesn't care to play it.

Unexpected hit all around
I bought this for work and it’s become a family game. My nieces and nephews (4-6) love to make this a spooky game even though it’s not at all. It’s very simple, definitely for 6 and under. I purchased this for a child with autism who doesn’t like games with noises and (this game is loud) this was a nice intro into loud noises and light shows. Very safe feeling, some of the sounds are funny, you get « gold » at the end that you can count out loud together. The only thing to consider is the lights. I can only use this for work in the winter because the room needs to be dark for it to work.

It's a fun game for little kids, not so much bigger kids
So the way the game works is that the boat will project images to the wall "randomly" not really there's a pattern. The scope acts are the capturing device. When the person hits the projected image on the wall "you score". The scope will make a noise when you shoot and hit. When you hit the projection, it does not dissappear because you hit it, but rather because of the projection randomness. At the end of each game session you'll hear coin sounds representing how many hits you scored. This very similar to those VHS light gun games from the 80's. If you are getting this for kids under 6 they'll have fun, anyone older will notice its just an illusion.

Great price and just what I needed.
My grandson has this on his Christmas list. It was so easy to find on Amazon and was delivered fast at a great price. Saves time shopping on Amazon and great quality items. No complaints from anything I have ordered.

Disappointing Quality and Not Very Engaging
I really wanted to like Johnny The Skull Pirate’s Cove, but it fell short in several important ways. The biggest issue is the ship itself — it just doesn’t stay together. Every time the kids tried to play, pieces would shift or pop apart, which got frustrating fast. The projected images were another letdown. They’re blurry, and they appear in the exact same spots every time, which takes away the excitement and variety the game is supposed to offer. We also had to set the whole thing up higher than expected just to get the images to display correctly on the wall. Unfortunately, the kids lost interest pretty quickly. Between the unstable ship and the repetitive, hard‑to‑see images, it just didn’t hold their attention for long.

Esta muy bonito mi hijo se divirtió mucho

You can’t actually tell if you shoot the ghosts in the game with the shooter. So it’s more just a projector. The remote shooter piece to get the pirate ghosts doesn’t actually do anything. Also it keeps falling apart. Don’t waste your money.
