Knife Blades, # 11 Blades, Classic Fine Point, Pack Of 100 - Sharp, Durable, For Cutting and Trimming

I recently purchased the X-acto blades after a disappointing experience with cheaper alternatives, and I am beyond impressed with the quality of these blades. They are worth every penny! Unlike the cheaper blades I tried before, these X-acto blades stay sharp even after multiple cuts and the tips remain sturdy without bending. The difference in quality is truly remarkable. If you're looking for reliable, long-lasting blades for your projects, look no further. I highly recommend the X-acto blades - they are insanely good!

I started using X-Acto knives when I was 11 (1963) for building and customizing model car kits and other hobbies. This was the knife that my older brother used for his own custom car models. When I became a graphic designer in 1975, X-Acto knives were the most critical art tool and an industry standard. We didn't have computers then and cut everything by hand for print reproduction art. No other brand of blades were ever used in the advertising and graphics industry. I have used them continually since then as a lighting and furniture designer and builder for the last 30 years. All totalled, I've used X-Acto #11 blades professionally and virtually every day in my studio for 46 years. I could not imagine my professional life without them. ACCEPT NO SUBSTITUTES! EVER. Competitor's blades are useless. They are nowhere near as sharp and they lose their point immediately. I've found that #11 blade is THE most versatile of all the X-Acto blade shapes and that the "hobby" blades offered by X-Acto are oddly shaped and uncomfortable to work with. The #11 DOES IT ALL, which is why it's the #1 art industry standard. Also, not a single poorly made blade in the 46 years I've used them.

I burn through these blades when working projects, buying bulk just makes sense. These blades are blued unlike the silver finish in the smaller packs. These blades hold an edge well and from what I have experienced, the tips are a bit more resilient than the silver type. These blades arrive wrapped in paper and coated with oil. Depending upon what is being cut, the blades will need to be cleaned prior to use.

The blades are sharp but the tips break off easily. I read this detail before I purchased them but the price was attractive for the number of blades so I took my chances.

Use for crafts always buy name brand

I have been using/buying these blades for many years. The quality has never failed. Always sharp. Such a great value!

Very sharp and consistant quality

The X-Acto 11 blade is so common that "Cheese Grade" ripoffs have become almost the norm. I am honestly not sure if these blades are genuinely manufactured by a company called X-Acto, or even if that matters, but I can confirm that they are the best quality blades of this general shape that I have ever bought. The lower quality blades break of bend the tip in very little time, but these hold their shape very well. The blades are shipped blued and oiled, and at first inspection are clearly harder/more rigid that the vast majority of blades sold as "X-Acto 11's" I do note that the price has gone up more that 10$cad since I bought them - they are made in USA, and the Canadian dollar is tanking compared with the US. That's a shame, since this is one of the few times that I've found a North American-made product that has compared favourably with a Chinese copy on price. Still, it's not a terrible price for a quality product.

Le pack est arrivé rapidement et bien emballé. Les lames sont dans un étui en plastique qu'on ouvre très facilement. Elles sont ensuite protégées par un papier que je pense être légèrement graisser pour les protéger. Les lames en elles-mêmes sont solides, meme en cas de torsion. Je découpe régulièrement du carton double épaisseurs sans souci, même en cas de dévers. La pointe est super fine ce qui permet de faire des travers d'une extrême précision. La finition des découpes est super simple et facile. Elles se montent sans souci sur mon cuter. Dernier point qui vaut les étoiles, elles ne retiennent pas les saletes (la colle par exemple) ce qui permet de couper un grand nombre de montages et de matériaux, dont les autocollants ou les matériaux ayant une face adhésive. Parfait pour le DIY

Produkt entspricht voll und ganz meinen Erwartungen. Funktioniert wie zu erwarten im Zusammenspiel mit X-Acto No 1 Messer. Preis im 100er Pack attraktiv.. Lieferung akzeptable. Ich bin mit meinem Kauf zufrieden.
