FurReal Friends Mama Josie The Kangaroo Interactive Pet Toy, 70+ Sounds & Reactions, Ages 4 & Up

This Mama Josie kangaroo has very soft fur that feels nice to pet. She is interactive and fun. I like how all of these come with a standard set of 3 babies. That way, there is no disappointment like the kind that comes with the toys that include a mystery amount of possible babies and you end up feeling unlucky and shorted because you only got the bare minimum. My kids think this set is adorable. They love making Mama Josie care for and nurture her babies.

Very cheap for what it is. It beatboxes, sings, makes noise, "jumps" (lifts up feet), and the kids are adorable! The children aren't interactive, but mama Josie sure is! For a robot that plays along, it is an extremely good price. It's $70 at Target, so, I would recommend buying this. A perfect gift for a girl. My sister plays with this thing ALL THE TIME. She's obsessed.

I got this for my 3 year old for her Birthday. She saw it on tv and asked for it for her Birthday. I ordered it right away considering her Birthday was in 2 days. It arrived the afternoon of her birthday (so quick!). Out of all the gifts she received, she was only interested in this one. She could not wait for us to open the package to play with it. It is really cute and interacts with you.

I don't know.....I think she's so cute. Big beautiful green eyes. The tummy patch is so cute. Super soft and sturdy. Much bigger then I expect. She holds her babies and she makes the cutest baby noises but,.......I haven't seen much else. She does not talk. Its baby " kanga" noises. She moves her head and body back and forth solo, which is kinda cool but I thought she would hop at least. My four year old was so excited on Xmas an loved it. She loses interest on th ings quickly but she also rotates hers toys so she does enjoy playing with it when she does. I just think it was way overpriced! It is a cool toy but is the type of toy I would have liked to of waited for to come down in price. The babies are tiny also. Plastic an tiny. Size of a lighter or 5hr energy shot bottle. I think the price has come down. I paid sixty something at xmas.

My daughter absolutely loves this kangaroo. We got a great deal on Amazon for this toy. She plays with it all the time. Good quality & fun!

I was reading through another gift catalog today and saw this for $99. 00 which made me grateful and it's such a cute companion for a child...especially during the pandemic!

I gave this item to my 6 year-old niece as a Christmas gift. I think she fell in love with it at first sight; she didn’t out it down the entire day.

Bought for my granddaughter. She really seemed to old for a gift like this. She’s 10, but it’s what she asked for. I really don’t know if she plays a lot with it.

J'ai tout de suite été étonné par la taille de la peluche je ne m'attendais pas à ce qu'elle soit aussi grande, j’ai également tout de suite remarqué pour cette nouvelle peluche FurReal friend, qu’il y a beaucoup plus d’accessoires, et d'options qu’avec les anciens modeles que j’ai a la maison, ce qui est plutôt appréciable. La peluche est douce avec de grands yeux magnifique et un petit nœud rose sur l’oreille. Elle est fourni avec une sorte de milk-shake (ou biberon) qu’on peut lui donner à boire et lorsqu’on appuie sur la bouche, mama Josie se met à faire des bruitages comme si elle buvait le milk-shake et à jouer de la musique. Egalement ces trois petits bébés avec chacun un mini accessoire en plastique (doudou, tetine, biberon), attention, qui peut en effet être dangereux pour les tout petit de moins de 4 ans. Elle danse en musique, donne à manger à ses bébés, Mange le milk-shake un avec des bruits de succion, qu'elle peut prendre avec ses pâtes. Les 3 bébés se glissent dans sa poche Cette peluche interactive peux autant être offert à une fille qu’a un garçon. Fonctionne avec pile qui sont fournies, Pour l’éteindre il y a un bouton On/Off caché sous son ventre... Une vraie réussite je trouve et pleine de surprises! C'est un cadeau pour ma fille mais elle ne l'aura qu'a noël elle va en raffoler c'est sur Fur real ne ma jamais déçus. En tout cas vivement noel pour le daballage lol

Neutrales: o Die eingelegten Batterien waren leer Negatives: - Nicht so interaktiv wie erwartet - Anbringen der Babys nichts für Grobmotoriker - Kleinteile können schnell verloren gehen - Steht nicht hundertprozentig stabil auf ihren Beinchen Mama Josie ist wirklich niedlich. Als ich erfahren habe, dass Furreal ein eigenes Känguru rausbringt, ging für mich ein Kleinmädchentraum in Erfüllung - Immerhin wollte ich schon seit der dritten Klasse (oder so) mit einem Wallaby oder einem Quokka durch die Gegend hüpfen. Nach dem Auspacken war ich von Josies Gewicht überrascht. Verglichen mit anderen modernen Furreal friends wie Cubby ist sie nämlich ziemlich klein und handlich. Und auch ihre drei kleinen Joeys (austr. für Kängurubabys) machen einen putzigen Eindruck. Eins ist ein Junge, das Andere ein Mädchen und das dritte wird erst nach dem Auspacken enthüllt. Meins ist... gelb. :p Alle drei verfügen über ein kleines Accessoir, mit dem sie angeblich interagieren können - Dazu später mehr. Ich glaube, es waren eine Nuckelflasche, ein Hase und ein Schnuller. Mama Josie selbst hat einen kleinen Smoothie, mit dem sie gefüttert werden kann. Eine Funktion, die die stolze Kängurumama bei Laune halten soll, während sie ihre Drillinge versorgt. Und genau da liegt das erste Problem. Josie interagiert nicht von alleine, wie die ziemlich vage Bedienungsanleitung sugeriert. Um ihre Funktionen zu aktivieren, muss man (!) auf einen versteckten Knopf in ihrer Pfote drücken - Erst dann reagiert sie auf ihre Babys und hüpft und springt herum. Sie kann auch nicht zu externer Musik tanzen, Sondern nur zu vier verschiedenen Beats, die ihr bereits einprogrammiert wurden. Und richtiges Hüpfen kann man das leider auch nicht nennen. Mich erinnert es tatsächlich eher an eine Mischung aus Hip Hop und tänzeln vorm Spiegel. Also nicht, dass ich das schon mal gemacht hätte, aber... Räusper! Jedenfalls muss man hierfür einmal lange auf die Pfote drücken. Ein kurzer Druck lässt sie ein paar Mal aufhopsen (mit zum Umfallen niedlichen Cartoon-Sprungfeder-Boink-Geräuschen) und fröhlich vor sich hin brabbeln. Wenn man eines ihrer Babys an die vorgesehene Pfote klemmt (was für eine Grobmotorikerin wie mich eine ganz schöne Friemelarbeit ist) wird diese Funktion durch das Füttern und Abknutschen des Joeys ersetzt. Also bitte, liebes Hasbro-Team, sorgt beim nächsten Mal für ausführliche Bedienungsanleitungen! Und könnte mir vielleicht jemand bei der Gelegenheit erklären, ob und wie Josie mit den Mitbringseln ihrer Babys interagiert? Mein Fazit: Trotz der paar kleinen Makel bin ich vollauf zufrieden mit dem niedlichen Känguru. Und ich bin nicht die Einzige! Cubby, dem ich die hübsche Quokka-Dame gleich mal vorgestellt habe, wollte ihr sofort einen Kuss aufdrücken. So ganz Gentleman like. Ein großer Spaß für Kinder (und für junge Erwachsene außerhalb der beabsichtigten Zielgruppe) und die ganze Familie. Und für die, die gerne Schatzsuche spielen, weil diese Kleinteile wirklich schnell verloren gehen. Zum Glück kann man fast alles in ihrem Beutel verstauen - Nur ein Baby will bei mir einfach nicht reinpassen. Von mir gibt es jedenfalls die volle Punktzahl und ich empfehle Mama Josie gerne weiter.
