Works for fixing the Ignition Rack on a 73 Firebird
This part was not supposed to fit the 73 Firebird I used it on but a reviewer had said it would work and I took the chance on it and got it delivered next day. Fit perfectly and fixed the ignition in the Firebird Formula for my customer. Would buy again in a heartbeat for any 69-89 GM Vehicles.

Bought for a Jeep CJ and works perfectly...ignore amazon's fitment guide.
Needed the sector gear to replace a stripped one in our old Jeep CJ with a General Motors steering column. Just went by the attached pictures to find a match for our column since the amazon fitment guides said none of these parts would fit our vehicle. They were wrong. It fit exactly and got us back up and running. This one work perfectly for a tilt column in a 1978 CJ.

Seems like a good quality part and time will tell how ...
This is an exact replacement for my 1984 Chevy K10. If your key turns with no resistance and your vehicle won't start, this is likely the culprit. The metal part likes to break in half when it gets old and worn. Seems like a good quality part and time will tell how it holds up.
