Amazon Basics 16-Inch Heavy Duty Shock Resistant Aluminum Alloy Magnetic Spirit Level, Yellow

I don't like borrowing my neighbor's tools and I found myself needing a small level one day. So I purchased this one and I have no complaints. I think everyone needs multiple levels that are doing any kind of projects around their home. Different sizes and different shapes. This one is nice because it is small enough for most projects and has magnets to help it stick to metal surfaces. I am by no means a pro builder and if you are working on something like building a house I would probably go with a more accurate type of level. But this will work great for most household projects.

I do a lot of finish carpentry and cabinets. Perfect size for what I need it for. Have checked it against 2 other levels I own. Which are both well over $80 each and high quality. Came out perfect. Only thing I don’t understand. WHY DOES IT COST MORE “WITHOUT”. The case ? I purchased it with the case of course. Weird. For $20. Well worth it.

I ordered the level when it was on sale for 9 dollars. The one I received was defective, but they replaced it. The level is very nice, a steel at 9 dollars, but I don't think it's worth the current $67.97 price.

It's not expensive. It works just fine. I wish the bubble was larger and the diameter of the tube was also larger. I also would like the fluid to be more "retaining" or "more viscous". It's like the fluid may be lighter than water, such as in organic solvent. Now, I haven't opened it up, nor do I ever intend to. But, organic solvents like paint thinners are sometimes used in these types of applications. But, likely because it's cheaper. I compared it to a name brand much more expensive 4ft level (orange in picture), and it reads just fine in line with the more expensive one. I love it because it's small enough for me to use on small jobs. I'm not building the Eiffel tower here, so it meets my needs just fine around the house. YES, I would recommend to buy again. Especially for the price!

Arrives in a case like a pool cue or something. Excellent quality, especially for a tool under $20. My first thought was to look it up to see what I paid and make sure I hadn't gone overboard. Amazon Basic but a lot more than basic.

The construction guys liked it and the size made it easy to carry in a tool bag. They had no issues with the accuracy and it is easy to read.

The product looks sturdy and works very well. It allows you to level on every direction. If you’re doing small construction work at home this would definitely be your best friend. It also comes with a storage bag for it. Worth the money.

tres fiable et tres costaud

Really pleased with this level to be honest I was looking at other more expensive brands as I’m an engineer and being magnetic was a telling factor in selecting this level. Now that I have used the level I was amazed at the build quality, weight and robustness of this item. I was actually hesitant in buying this level because it was not an American or German brand (I don’t want to name the brands), but I’m glad I did. I don’t see any reason why not to purchase this level especially at this price.
