Used this to for my USA Pioneer Elite receiver in The Netherlands. I bought a new receiver which supports Atmos AND has 3 monitor outlets (An excellent Denon AVRX3800H), and instead of digarding my older Pioneer elite that is still working great, I took it with me during a family visit to The Netherlands, and left it there. Of course EU uses 220 Volt, instead of USA 110Volt, so I used this excellent portable step-up/down converter. It works great, I can leave the receiver plugged in constantly, it makes no noise whatsoever, and provides a steady 110V power while plugged into a EU 220V outlet. Highly recommended!

It's more than I needed. But it gave me the peace of mind that I would be okay. I think that when you fire up the Singer Featherweights that they use double the watts that they need. So I was told that I should get a step up converter for at least 500, to give me some wiggle room, but then I saw the price from the 500-800 and felt like I may as well get the 800 and have that piece of mind and flexibility in the future if needed. I don't know that I'd want to travel with this. But I would if I had to.

There are two 240V outlets on the front of this unit. One is incorrectly wired, with the Live and Neutral connections swapped. This is not safe and could result in a 240V shock. The ground (earth) wire used within this unit is not the same gauge as the other wires, which it should be.

Great unit, nice looking and very well built; it feels heavy and solid. I use it to power a hi-fi integrated amplifier and a phono stage and I've been satisfied so far; no voltaje drops and it does not heat up. The only recommendation is to use a thicker and more professional power cable; the one supplied is just too flimsy. Other than that, I'm pretty satisfied.

We initially purchase this after we bought waffle maker from Korea. It saved our purchase since it requires a 220v plug with enough watts. Even though it may take some additional space on the counter whenever we use it, but allows us to use our waffle maker with no complaints. The rubber feet and weight of it is sturdy and won't move around. and the ease of plugging things in it accessible. Will recommend this to others who uses international electronics. Make sure of what your electronics watts requirement is before you purchase.

Not sure what’s the issue, the device is working fine but the device is getting hot and some weird smell.

Efficient, quiet, and just warm when operates.. I have this small coverter on all the time to power a Bialetti coffee maker that works at 220 volt. Very much satisfied with this purchase.

Heavy but it does the job and instructions are clear. Used it to convert power for a sewing machine.

This one is so sturdy and solid. Doesnt make any noise compared to the older versions and does a pretty good job. Three sockets and is built with quality. One thing is that this wont be helpful for travel unless you are ok with carrying a heavy unit. But overall this is an awesome buy!!

If u need good voltage converter this is good heavy duty one for international devices

It broke just two months after minimal use; I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.
