Washing Machine Cleaner by Tide, Washer Machine Cleaner with Oxi for Front and Top Loader Washer Machines, Deep Cleaning Odor Eliminator, 3 Month Supply

I strongly recommend this machine cleaner for eliminating washing machine's bad odor. My washer is about 10 years old, and it works good, but a stinky smell even if the washer is clean and dry. I tried different methods like lemon juice and baking soda, and other various methods from online, unfortunately, nothing helped. When I tried Tide Washing machine cleaner all bad smell went, and it's very efficient. I use it every 6 months to clean my washing machine, and very satisfied with the result.

I was starting to get a little bit of a musty smell from my GE front loading washing machine. Not enough to leave behind any smell on the clothes, but enough that I was noticing it. GE recommended Tide washing machine cleaner, so this is what I bought, and it worked perfectly! I emptied the packet into the empty washer, ran the self clean cycle, and there is no longer a smell.

Love the tide washing machine cleaner. Only problem, although the shipping box was fine, the product box inside was ripped. While the individual packets were intact, the entire box was filled with loose powder.

This worked really well to clean my washer when I moved into my new place. It really gave me peace of mind about cleanliness and I'm looking forward to running it through again in a few months. Who wants to use a machine that someone else was using. 🤮 Anyway, give it a chance! It's a pretty good value for what it is and couldn't be easier to use.

Works perfectly. I just do a normal cleaning cycle with very hot water with no clothes and one of these packets of powder in the drum and all odors are gone and stay gone for many cycles. I have recently entered a mode of performing 1 or 2 laundry cycles each day with soiled clothes and bedsheets from elderly family members. Quickly the smell was nothing in the machine but also transferring to other clothes in the following cycles. I also think there was many years of buildup of humidity that went unattended because we didn’t know it was necessary. But if we left the wash in the washer for an hour or more after the cycle completed, we’d have a mildewy smell even after being dried completely. This product removes the residual odor using a normal wash cycle. I don’t bother with the special wash cycle with special soap that only works for my washer…I couldn’t even track it down since different soaps are required for different washers even from the same brand. Very confusing. This bypasses all of that and “it just works”. To start with I used a package after each heavily soiled load of laundry (about 2x per week). But that was unnecessary. I am now using it about 1 per month despite having so many heavily soiled batches per week.

Easy to use. Cleans the machine. Leaves a clean smell in the whole house.
