Green Toys, Tugboat , Blue

My son loves this bath toy! It floats but also scoops water, it comes assembled and is a fun addition to bath time!

My son received a couple of other "Green Toys" for Christmas and it was the first I had heard of the brand. I really loved the concept- made in the USA, made of recycled plastic, etc- but had a little bit of "sticker shock" when I saw how much more expensive they were. I know, I know, it is worth the extra price if you are getting a good quality product- but still! Anyway, I was able to nab this boat during a "Deal of the Day" here on Amazon, so I jumped at the opportunity! (Though, to be honest, all bath toys seem to be incredibly overpriced, so in comparison this one was not out of the ordinary). We have this in tub- and I think it is the best bath toy we have. Here's why: -The plastic it is made of is very thick and sturdy (as opposed to the thin, cheapy plastic used in a lot of the other toys). -This boat actually stays afloat unless you intentionally try to capsize it. I know that sounds like an odd comment, but other plastic boat toys have had varying success with this, so I thought it was worth a mention. In our experience over the last 2 months it won't just randomly flip over or fill with water on its own. -The front of the boat has a little spout in it, so if you do choose to fill it with water, it doubles as a water spout to rinse off your soapy child. (Or, anything else you want to pour water on). AND most of all, I love that the more I learn about the ideas behind "Green Toys", the more I can justify spending a little more on them. With the ever growing list of toxic chemicals found in children's toys, this will be a brand I'll be following more from now on. Great option for those who used to be big Melissa and Doug fans but have been disappointed to see their quality slowly decline as they have grown as a company.

Very nice quality toy. Nice colors. I bought one for my grandson at the Monterey Bay Aquarium then got another one from Amazon.com for a baby shower gift. (My gifts were Jaws themed. "You're gonna need a bigger boat.") My grandson plays with this boat in the bathtub and wading pool. Pours water nicely.

This is a great toy boat. So many plastic boats roll over in the water and flip upside down. This boat does not. It actually floats. Can hold a toy doll or two. And then also has a watering can function. Lightweight and great size. 2 year old loves to carry by handle but looks great for all ages. Also made from recycled milk jugs so that is a feel good bonus. Perfect! (And I did not get this toy free! It was a great price around $8)

My 4 year old has an absolute obsession with boats and wants as many as possible in his bathtub with him. This boat is very cute and durable, and empties completely which is great, we've had some that needed to be thrown out quickly due to mold build up from the water not draining completely. The only reason this is 4 stars instead of 5 is because it easily fills with water and no longer floats which is a bit disappointing to my son.

I bought this boat for my infant grandson, once he was old enough to sit up and participate in his bath. I wanted a simple, sturdy, and safe toy. This Green Toys boat did not meet my criteria; it exceeded it. It is well crafted, well finished piece in appealing colors. As a bath toy, it is superb; not only is it a fun floating boat, but having a pitcher spout on the bow, also handy for pouring water. My little grandson loves his boat so much that I got him a second one for his house. (I have since bought several other toys, also good, but the boat is, so far, the baby's favorite.) Green Toys constructs their toys from recycled, PBA free milk jugs. Made by this small Washington company, the purchase of this toy hit a lot of good notes for consumers who are concerned about where and how products are produced.

Such a cute bath toy. I paired it with a Golden Book with similar tug boat as a gift. I just love kid powered toys.

Reçu très vite, bien emballé. Je cherchai un bateau pour le bain de mon neveu de 1an et c'est parfait ! la taille permet de poser 1 ou 2 petits personnages ou objets sur le bateau, le système de "poignet" est bien pensé et le jouet est démontable avec l'aide d'un adulte pour les plus petits...Les couleurs sont jolies, la qualité est top et la matière plastique sans produits toxiques ! Ohé ohé matelot... ^^ Ps: photos pour celles et ceux qui veulent mieux visualiser le jouet.

Mein Sohn liebt das Boot! Es kommt immer mit in die Badewanne. Da kann es schwimmen oder mit Wasser gefüllt und als Gießkanne benutzt werden. Der Kunststoff ist stabil und farbecht. Das beste ist aber, dass sich das Boot vollständig ausleeren und prima trocknen lässt! Kein ekliger Geruch oder irgendwelche Rückstände!

I bought one of these for one of my grandchildren and have since bought two more for other grandchildren as it was so popular. It is really easy for little hands to play with and is colourful and fun. Very happy with this.

Es exactamente igual q en la foto. A todos los niños de la urbanización les ha encantado. Es un juguete muy fácil de usar pq lo cogen fácilmente por el mango. Puede llenarse de agua dentro y utilizarlo como regadera.
