I've been wearing the Reebok EX‑O‑FIT HI for months now, and these vintage-inspired high-tops absolutely deliver. Stylishly, the clean retro lines and iconic hook-and-loop strap give off robust 80s–90s basketball vibes. How can I describe the perfect shoe? Well it's the shoes that I bought. The one you're reading a review about. These shoes are what I feel are the perfect shoes. They're lightweight makes it feel like you're running like dash from The Incredibles. Not only that but you feel protected with the thick sole. Which has a pretty chunky heel which makes it perfect to step in deep puddles of water. Makes it feel like you can step on nails. And adds a little placebo height, that people will recognize but not find the shoe as an excuse. With all this protection on my feet. I was extremely satisfied to find that it does not add any weight to the shoe. It's simply feels like armor. Lightweight hard as steel armor. I feel like I can run, jog, trot, hike, trek, ramble, lope, sprint, dash, race, march, gallop, bolt, dart, hurry, canter, rush, scurry, and crawl. Yes crawl, the toe area has so much flexibility yet sturdiness. The ankle support makes me feel like I can play basketball whenever I need to. With the extreme grip on the souls with the upside down triangle pattern. Is genius to me. I constantly find myself bragging to my brothers about how I have a significant advantage because my upside down triangle shoe design. It pierces the ground and gives you a little boost. With a beautiful Reebok logo on the bottom sole of the heel sleeping there. Which only comes second to my first favorite branding, the tongue. The nice thick tongue which is snuggled under the velcro lacing. Is my favorite sleek, and subtle flash. With a hint of red in all this white it makes you feel so saucy. And snuggled underneath the tongue, would be your ankle. As long as you have this shoe your ankle would be hugged constantly from all sides making sure you have supreme grip on anything. When I outgrow these shoes (I hope never) I would only come back to this review to buy another pair. These shoes belong in the museum with all of my life artifacts. The shoes that I would choose to run away from the cops in. The shoes that I would choose to go to a four day music festival in. The shoes that I would take with me if I can only take three objects in the wilderness. These shoes don't only protect my feet, they make it possible for me to keep going. Anyways 10/10, would buy again.

It’s not fair for me to review this product because I have been wearing these shoes since 1986. I stray ways from them for a year or two but then I always come back. Reebok better never stop producing this style. Buying this pair fixed many of my foot issues.

Laced these up and got instant retro-cool vibes. The leather is sturdy but breaks in fast, the ankle strap keeps everything locked without rubbing, and the collar padding hits the sweet spot. Grip is solid on slick floors, and the cushioning has that walk-all-day comfort. Perfect for errands, concerts, or cruising the mall like it’s 1985. Fit was true to size for me, with a roomy (not bulky) toe box. After a couple of weeks they still look crisp with minimal creasing and a quick wipe keeps them clean. If you want a clean high-top that blends classic style with real comfort, these deliver. Five stars, no hesitation.

I love these shoes. They have a nice clean look, not gimmicky looking like a lot of "athletic" shoes today. As mid-tops these are much more supportive than low-tops, yet they are fairly light for their size (even though I take a size 15). Although there's no width stated, these fit me perfectly despite that I normally take a "B" width. I do add a Dr. Scholl's heel insert in each, for added cushioning, and this might help with the fit. If you have an unusually wide foot, these might not work for you (not sure). I had normally purchased New Balance shoes, due to the fact that they offered a "narrow" option, which is rare. But NB doesn't offer mid-tops or high-tops, only low-tops, so I wanted to try these. Glad I did. These are less expensive than NB low tops too (at least the ones I was buying in their 800 or 900 series). If you have a narrow-ish foot, don't be afraid to try these even though they are supposedly "medium" width.
