Decent di box, not the smallest or lightest but it's good quality, well made and does its job, I went to a venue or two that didn't have one so I made a habit of bringing one in my bag to every gig just incase. This didn't make it though and I wen for the smaller lighter and cheaper behringer which worked just as well. Reduces noise as it should giving good sound quality, easy to use too. Listen to the video clip tell me it's noisy? Lol...

I have the first gen Scarlet 2i2 which was notorious for having hardly any headroom on the HI-z input when recording guitars , essentially forcing you to use a DI box to get more control. Enter this device. For the price, this DI box does exactly the trick, it gives you a balanced signal into a DAW which is perfect for recording DI guitars to use with amp sims. Obviously, it won't sound as a good as a Radial JDI but for a fraction of the price this gives you a very clean signal with excellent noise rejection. To me it sounds better than the HI-z did. Bare in mind it is passive and using it with passive pickups like I am means that there is a slight roll off in the highs, but to be honest it's only very slight and actually really helps with my Telecaster that has an extremely bright bridge pickup, just takes a hair off the icepick highs. It imparts a warmer tone than the HI-z does but with plenty of clarity still. An active DI is the preferred way usually with passive pickups, but they are considerably noisier for the use of what I do. Overall very recommended and the box is a nice size. I could care less about the design on it, but does have its charm.

Why did you choose this product over others?: Purchased this to eliminate the humming when playing my guitar loud, which it did but not totally, but in doing so the volume was drastically reduced which was not what I wanted. I could play without the humming but at a reduced volume which in my case was not acceptable. I returned the item as I could not accept the lower volume. It is well made and built like a tank, and if it were not for the volume issue then I would be keeping it.

I bought this DI because the Boss GX-100 hasn't balanced outputs to go to a PA At home I'm using this passive DI to go into my modeler and to be able to record both my DI signal and modeler output throught my soundcard pre amp and to avoid to use the usb signal. It does what it shoul do

This is my first ever DI box as a new guitarist. After a lot of research I decided this was the one for me, and it did not disappoint! Upon opening the box I was greeted by a solid metal box, which was extremely well made and had quite a heavy weight to it for such a little gadget! It may not be the smallest DI box on the market, nor the most attractive, but it definitely serves its purpose and doesn’t seem to create any interference. It also comes in at a great price so I’d highly recommend this!

I’m using it with my bass for live shows. I just plug my basse in a boss compressor and then in the D.I and voila ! No more static buzz and no more bass amp ! No power supply and no battery needed. Magic !
