The quality of this legal pad is by far the best I've ever used. I was hesitant since the price is decently more expensive compared to the Amazon Basic legal pads I normally order. But the quality far outweighs the price difference. The back of the pad is strong enough to write on its own, no clipboard needed. The pages are thick and do not fold easily when I through the pad into the back seat of my car. Also, pen ink does not easily bleed through the paper since it is thicker. I would highly reccomend these legal pads.

Nice thick paper which makes it easy to tear the sheet completely rather than tearing off corners. I like that. Also the cardboard backing is thick and sturdy making it easier to write on when not on a surface. It's worth paying a little extra highly recommend I'll be buying more

These pads are better than what I get at work. In addition to the heavy weight of the paper, the cardboard back is thicker than most, making it easier to write on. Highly recommended.

I take massive amounts of notes every day. These notepads are fantastic. Thick, sturdy paper with just the right texture to take ink well without running. The perforations are great, too. Each page tears clearly from the pad, preventing the all too common chunks of untorn paper that make removing pages an exercise in frustration. These are a bit more expensive, but are worth every penny.

Very well made legal pad. But the tone of yellow is a lil too deep and the paper is more durable than it needs to be. Makes me feel like I can't use it/write on it unless it's for a purpose worthy enough. So, that's a problem:) But a very well made legal pad, nice and sleek, professional and paper is thick and durable.

I go through a lot of yellow pads like this at work and I always seem to be buying a different brand because nothing every stands out to me. I had gotten the amazon brand of yellow pads before and the paper was very thin and flimsy. These were surprisingly nice! Good quality paper, no bleeding through from my gel or heavy ball point pens. This almost seems too nice for the notes I use them for, but I do appreciate the quality of paper.

Some reviews say this paper was better in the past for fountain pens. But it is still very good compared to legal pads from Staples.

Very good paper if you write with a ballpoint pen. However, it bleeds badly if you write with a fountain pen or gel-tip. It's also Letter Size, so not a standard file size (A4) in Australia. As a legal pad, one would think that it would be manufactured to be written on by lawyers, many of whom use a fountain pen.

Very average product. The pages are not standard size, the margins are to wide and the perforation is of a poor quality so the pages keep falling out
