IPS Weld-On 3 Acrylic Plastic Cement with Weld-On Applicator Bottle with Needle, 4 oz Can, Clear

All products in the image arrived - the bottle contained the cap for the needle, and the bag had the applicator tip. The container was full, with a metal cap inside to seal it and prevent leakage. Unfortunately, upon breaching the seal the cap ejected itself with some force and spilled a bit of cement on my desk, liquefying the paint on my desk. I am fortunate to not be blinded, I suppose. The paint has dried now, so all is well. Regardless, upon testing the product, it works exactly as I intended for bonding PETG 3D printed parts to Acrylic. I am satisfied. I suggest letting the cement come out of the bottle on its own, there is no need to squeeze it.

This product works as advertised but the surface tension is higher then water so went everyplace except the squeeze bottle so the extra that got on the acrylic stained it and couldn't be repaired. I used a glue needle and it worked way better. I also used painters tape to keep the material where I wanted it. It cured up nicely.

Excellent Product. There simply is nothing better on the market for acrylic bonding. For the novice-this product is clear water- like ,and comes with an application bottle w/steel needle. It is NOT like 'glue" nor does it work like glue does. Ie: bond of.two surfaces. This.product actually breaks down (melts) acrylics to a non solid, joining each piece as it rehardens. Much like fabrication. It takes only seconds. There.is no 'dry time', bond is.instant and cures more as time passes. Strong odor only present while product is in liquid form which is mere seconds. Evaporates IMMEDIATE. I CAN NOT STRESS.THIS ENOUGH! Don't make the mistake I made and NOT read all instructions thoroughly! You'll be purchasing another can the same day you open it! Lol. You can NOT leave can open/unlided as you work. This products evap rate is 100%. In fact, I poke a hole small enough to.insert included steel application needle and use included bottle to syphon out small amounts at a time. Tightly recapping can EVERY time. Product evaps significantly even through a pin sized hole! Care MUST BE taken if you do not want to be going through a can or two on learning curve! Keeping these points in mind...you can not go wrong with this product. Bond is instant, invisable and as strong as manufacturer fabrication. Excellent!

Change your ad picture if that’s not the applicator bottle you’re going to send with your product. This needs a good needle applicator and the one pictured is the best for this application but I just opened my delivery and found this big cheap applicator bottle. I know there’s a huge pricing difference because I buy both types here on Amazon. This huge nozzle is useless I might as well spoon it out of the container. Lucky for you I need this now but I’m making sure others know that the precise needle applicator in the ad is not what you will receive!!!

Really, IPS? The can is immediately open, and spills. Some years ago there was a foil behind the lid, so now you need pliers to open, and spill immediately. And: the can paint dissolves, stains Hand and Fingers blue! The cement itself is ok, the same as few years before. But the cans are much worse. If I find another manufacturer I will switch.

Great for acrylics very strong.

It is a pretty crappy container, and I had to use my own syringe to apply it to my projects. But the glue is really good, especially on 3D prints/projects.
