Can be Hacked to Sit Lower on Frame
Some full-suspension mountain bikes don't allow for a larger water bottle because the water cage is mounted too high (probably for clearance for the rear suspension). On my bike (Trek Fuel EX 7), there's plenty of clearance for the suspension (even when compressed), such that the water bottle could sit lower. However, nobody seems to make a water bottle cage that sits lower. So, I found this one that has a solid back that I could drill a new mounting hole into, allowing the water bottle cage to sit about 1.5" lower, allowing for a larger water bottle. Now, I can easily fit a 33 oz. water bottle. The material was easy to drill through (seems like some aluminum alloy). The water bottle cage comes with low-profile screws. A low-profile screw is necessary if placing it at the top of the cage as I did, so it doesn't interfere with the water bottle. I backed the new hole with a rubber washer, since that part of the back plane doesn't rest flush on the frame. Aside from being "hackable", the cage seems to be well-made. The material is strong and relatively light-weight. The cage with screws weighs just 55 grams. My last cage (typical wire-frame aluminum) weighted 72 grams with screws. Unlike plastic cages, this one can be adjusted to hug the water bottle tighter (if you ride on rough terrain) or looser (if you ride road). You just need to pull the two tabs apart gently or squeeze them together to bend them a bit. Happy riding! Keep the rubber side down!

Great MTB cage
Great MTB cage. WAY better than alloy/tubular type cages that drop bottles in rough terrain; this holds—with no movement—in rock gardens and fast, rocky descents. This cage fits tight over a CamelBak Podium Big Chill Insulated Water Bottle (25 oz.) and I feel it could hold an even bigger bottle. Most bottles have a cavity that the prong fits into nicely and helps with longitudinal movement (see the attached image). Laterally, it's simply tight, wrapping your bottle. I suppose there might be equivalents of "known" brands, but this one looks great, is alloy and holds really well. This manufacturer ought to send some samples to the likes of BIKE, Singletracks, etc., and have their product tested against the brands. It'd hold up for sure.

Great!!
What can I say, it looks great and works even better! It’s easy to install and fits perfectly. It keeps the bottle sturdy throughout the whole ride. I’ve used different size bottles and they are all easy to remove from the water bottle holder. Great for the price, I definitely recommend!!

Hold the bottle firmly and look nice doing it...
Very well made, lite weight design. Pre drilled hole' s matched perfectly on my Trek road bike. Few minutes to install. I have 2 of these mounted on bike. I purchased 2 large insulated water bottles that are quite tall from another seller on Amazon. About 60 percent of the water bottle sticks above the bottle carrier. Being aluminum and the way its made these 2 holders have a firm grip. There is a springyniss to the metal. All in all a good product. By the way one holder is black matte finish. The other black gloss. They both look good but should of stuck to black matte. My bike is black matte.

Very nice water bottle cage!
I'm really happy with this water bottle cage...I got two of these for my mountain bike because the old standard type cages I was previously using were making a mess of my water bottles by transferring paint and also causing excessive wear to the bottles via excessive scratching. I bought these hoping to solve that issue and they work great. They hold the bottles nice and snug even in some gnarly off road terrain and have a nice powder coated finish that looks sharp and doesn't rub off on the bottles. The finish also appears very durable, although a bit of scratching is inevitable when riding dusty/sandy single track. I highly recommend these cages if you are looking for a step up from the ordinary run of the mill water bottle cages, as these will not disappoint!

... Bike Water Bottle Cage by PRO BIKE TOOL was easy to install
The Bike Water Bottle Cage by PRO BIKE TOOL was easy to install, easy to use, and appears to be great quality. It's not too heavy and would compare to the high end bike cages sold out in the market place. The OEM supplied the Stainless Screws with the cage, which nowadays is rare and nice to see. The Cage comes in a well presented factory packaging if you were passing the cage as a gift. The PRO BIKE TOOL cage does hold my bottle well. I'm a MTB and had it on the single track trails two days ago, three wrecks, and the cage held the bottle on strong. I would purchase this PRO BIKE TOOL cage again if needed.

Hard to use
I purchased this bottle holder for the bike that I was giving to my daughter as a birthday gift. It went on easily but when I tried to slide the water bottle in, it took a great deal of effort to get the bottle all of the way in. I had purchased the correct sized bottle beforehand so I was sure that there would be no problem with the fit. Wrong!!! There was no way that my daughter would be able to use this holder without hopping off her bike and wrestling to get the bottle out and putting it back in. We removed this holder and I purchased a less expensive one at Lowes. Easily mounted it and the water bottle slides easily in and out. Also holds bottle securely. My daughter says that it has worked great for her. She can grab a drink easily while riding and place it back in with ease. I'd recommend purchasing this type of product from a store or bike shop.
