Brilliant just what I was looking for. I don't have dementia but I do forget what day and date is. I brought two one for my front room and for my kitchen. Very easy to use. Just plug into the electric and the clock is ready to use. It sets tge time automatically for you which is great. The clock itself is set to 12 hour clock but for me personally I prefer 24 hours which is easy to to change in the settings. I love all the different colours you can have have the clock my favourite is green. The clock dosnt auto dim or mine hasn't yet but I did set mine up after 7pm when I believe it dos dim the clock automatically. I like the fact you can set reminders to take medan drink water etc. Has a lot of different functions and the remote control is super easy to use. This clock is the only one I could find with a remote control. Definitely worth the extra money. The display is 7 inch. Plenty bigger enough to see the time date day etc. You can also use it as a photo frame and you can put custom reminders in. Like Doctors on Monday at 11 20am etc. You will need to buy a flash drive if you want to use it as a photo frame. The manual is a nice size and very easy to read. Not a small manual like you get nowadays. For me it's definitely worth the money especially as it has a remote control. Great value for money and is better than the other clocks like this in my opinion.

Bought to help a relative with poor memory. This clock is fantastic. Although not cheap, it is worth every penny. Display is great. Better than I thought, just screwed the stand in place and then plugged it in - that was all that was needed as immediately showed correct date and time - no need to set it up. Unplugged to see what happened with being off for a couple of days, took it to recipient and again no need to reset time/date. Recipient loves it! At the moment I haven't set any reminders as they are not needed but have viewed all settings and it is very simple to change any settings. I cannot recommend this clock highly enough; every house should have one! Would be great for anyone with poor sight as it is large display, poor memory or dementia etc.

My mum has cataracts so this clock is ideal for her. When she wakes up in the morning she knows exactly what day and time it is which says it helps her to start her day right. Really easy to set up, she did that herself. Good strong quality that will last.

This is a great clock for my 92 year old mum, her eyesight is very poor and she is always asking what time or day it is, so this does the trick. The reason I haven't given it five stars is because when you switch it on, the time, date etc all appear, but the time was three minutes fast, which is very odd. I switched it off and on again, and it was four minutes fast! This didn't bode well with my self-diagnosed OCD so I had to manually set the time, which means it's still a few seconds out, which is if course is fine, but all electronic products I've previously come across all default to the correct time. A strange flaw. But overall it does the job and I'm very pleased with it

Very pleased with this. My 93 year old father has it on his bedroom wall in his care home. He has vascular dementia and gets upset when he doesn’t know the time or date. He can read it clearly. It gives him something to talk about with confidence. Would definitely recommend. My mum ( who hasn’t got dementia) wants one too!

Great clock for those with memory problems and easy read

What I love about this digital wall clock is that, My mom sometimes forgets what day it is. This clock announces the time and day and date in Spanish for her every mourning . She loves it when it helps remind her that she has a doctors appointment coming up or a medicine reminder or even a favorite tv show she likes . If you have an elderly parent who's in need of a little help in the reminding them. This clock will help them out a lot with out embarrassing them. They will however need your help in setting up at first with the date/time/alarms/reminders and so forth. Comes with a batterie in case of a power outage. IT'S A MUST BUY THEY WILL LOVE IT and you as well. good luck...

I purchased this brilliant Large Day Clock Digital Calendar for a friend of mine who suffers terribly with dementia. She loves it ta bits 'cause the actual clock is bright, is a good size, and seats on a night table she sees 1st thing when she wakes up at whatever time of the day. Best of all, she no longer has to call anyone to find out what time it is or what day of the week it is!
