Camera itself is great, works smoothly, easy setup, does what's expected.After a couple of months I had an issue that resulted in the device not connecting to the wifi anymore. Resetting it didn't fixed the problem. Before returning it to Amazon I contacted Yi support to try to get a firmware file hoping that would help (firmware cannot be downloaded from their website at this time). Not only they weren't able to provide the firmware but they didn't help at all; communication was a night, completely hopeless.Once the return/refund process is finished I'll probably buy it again, but be aware that if you ever need to contact Yi support team you'll most likely end up disappointed and angry.

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. It used to be great, but the latest update completely ruined it. The app is now overwhelmed with ads to the point where it's barely usable. I own a couple of these devices, but unless they roll back to the previous setup, they're all headed for the trash. Save your money - look elsewhere.

Works good, haven't had any major problems. Couldn't connect with my other Yi camera, had to do another account, but over all it works great.

Over all a good live camera. But there is no local memory for recording viewing. You have to sign up their cloud service. I don’t think there is IR either. Remote tilting is slow, I wish it could be faster.Edit: I found the memory slot. It’s under the lens. There is also IR, but I guess the image quality is not too good so I thought there isn’t one.

We have 4 years with this cameras using outside and no issues!!

This is a great camera for the price. It has a crystal clear vivid picture and the fact that you can pan and tilt means you don't need as many cameras to view one room.

I bought 5 cameras and only 2 of them work now. They all worked when I started using them but Yi sent me a notice that I needed to update the cameras to the newest version of the firmware. When I started updating the cameras and on the third update, I noticed the cameras that updated stopped working. I tried everything possible to get them working again and nothing helped. I tried to contact customer support and they just told me to do everything I had already done. When I asked them what they were going to do to make this right they stopped talking to me and delete everything I write to them. The cameras are only a few months old so I can't return them. The only customer support they have is to send them a message and it can take up to 5 days for them to respond so if anything goes wrong you are pretty much on your own.

The cameras are alright, but every time I open the app an advertisement starts and won’t let me see anything. It is totally annoying and in the case of an emergency it won’t let me open quickly
