Q: what is the difference between a 9 and a 9M? I need a wide 9 shoe. Will this work?

If a shoe is 9 or 9m it means medium width, a 9n would be 9 narrow width and 9w is wide width. My birth mother wore a size 7nn which was a double narrow width. You rarely see that those sizes any more due to people getting fatter and fatter.

Q: I have pretty wide feet and the flip flop “tongue” the strap that goes between the toes, is always too short. Will these fit?

I would size up a half of a size or a full size up. The part seems long enough it’s just the elastic back strap pushing in to the thong part that could make you uncomfortable. At least it did me. I have some wide feet and when I sized up, they were great.

Q: Is this sandals good for flat feet?

I don’t have flat feet, but I do have issues with pain in my heals. I have bought 6 different pairs of Sketchers sandals, all the ones with the strap. They are so comfortable, nice and cushy! Definitely recommend. True to size

Q: If my size is 6.5 what size should I order?

I wear size 7 in the shoe even though I wear a 6 1/2 in other shoes because I don’t like the divider by my toe to be too tight. Since there is a strap in the back I don’t worry about stepping out of the shoe.I hope this helps
