Trains Coming Through!: My First Book of Trains

My grandson is 2 and he loves trains and this book! So many train illustrations in here and info on trains, he sits and looks at it for extended times mesmerized.

My son is obsessed with trains and learns so much about them in this book. I am learning about trains with him! Not boring succinct and engaging

Great book for kids who love trains. Knocking off one star though because I think our funicular page is missing text.

My 2.5 year old has started asking to read train books. We have a LOT of books, but none about or with trains. Although we've watched Thomas the Tank Engine and Chugginton a few times, I don't love stocking our bookshelf with TV show books. When I came across this one, I thought it would be perfect...and it is! Toddler loves it. It has a lot of pages for a toddler so I wasn't sure if we would get through the whole thing, but he was very engaged and we always read the entire book and check out all the illustrations. I love the illustration style, too. The illustrations are realistic without being overly so which I think is the right balance for a young child's book.

My 3 year old wants to read this book every night. Very educational too!
