Baby Touch: Food: A sensory touch-and-feel book for babies and toddlers

Good quality sensory book on everyday foods. Enjoyed by 11 month old. Recommended

This book is a lot bigger than I thought it would be. It is certainly the largest board book we have. The images are bright and cute. Each two page spread details food associated with a different meal of the day. There are some different textures thrown in: puffy bits, glitter, shiny, ridged. However I did feel that as it is claiming to be a touch and feel book there could have been a few more. As it was the textured sections were a bit on the small side and took a bit of effort to get my little one to engage with them.

This is a lovely book for younger toddlers, or babies. It is interactive with the touch and feel textures and has very simple text, with repeating phrases and new vocabulary to introduce them all about different foods. It’s bigger than the average board book and pretty chunky, it will be durable because the pages are thick cardboard. Each page also has a tab to help you find easily. Cute graphics and overall it’s just a really cute fun book

This is a wonderful big book full of colourful pictures and plenty of textures for little hands to explore. the book is quite big so it is easiest for little ones to sit with an adult to help turn the pages but my little one loves it.

This book is lovely and sturdy and great for teaching little ones foods and colours. My daughter has a great time identifying the foods both typical (Ice cream, broccoli etc) and non-typical (sushi, pancakes etc) and has helped her learn a few new things. Lovely bright colours and very engaging as well as having the lovely 3D edges to the book.

This tactile food book is a lovely introduction to healthy (and not-so-healthy) good types. The illustrations are vibrant and very cute. It isn’t the most textured book in terms of touch, there are some ribbed illustrations, and some slightly squishy smooth PVC elements. Perhaps there could have been some fabric or other textures included. But it’s still a lovely book for toddlers.

Lovely 12 page hardback book for toddlers to help teach them the names of food. My 3 year old twins enjoyed looking at all the colourful pictures, learning the words and touching and feeling the sensory pages. Page for breakfast, snacks, lunch, dinner and dessert. Also helps non verbal children to be able to point at what they want
