Clinical Studies in Medical Biochemistry

Awesome little book packed full of great Biochemistry clinical case examples. The book is set up by case, and condition represented. Each case starts with an overview of the clinical history of the patient and family. After giving the diagnosis, it dives into a short explanation of the biochemical aspect of the diagnosis, and how such a disease forms in the body. Very interesting, and easy to read. If you want a small look into the body through relative and interesting stories, this is a good purchase.

Used for MS a lot of information, great learning tool.

Dated, but still OK.

We used this text in my biochem small group in my M1 year in med school. Has good information and interesting case studies. We only got through 8 or so of the 33 case studies so unless your teacher plans to to go through all of them, just copy the relevant pages from a friend.
