As someone who trains daily and tracks every ingredient I consume, I can say this is the cleanest whey protein I’ve used. This is by far the cleanest and most transparent brand of Whey Protein. They tell you exactly where they get it from and are 100% transparent about their processes. Sure it may be a little pricier but you get what you pay for. If you are looking for clean ingredients as far as whey protein goes, this is it. It is a neutral flavor profile, you can sweeten it however you like, it gives you that much more control. If you are looking for cheap, this isn't for you. This product is for those who care, those who want to know where their things are coming from and want to back a product that is clean and in summary, premium. Overall, still pretty affordable in my opinion.

I like the quality and appreciate that it comes from the US but I wish the packaging was different because there is loss if transferred from the zip bag. I would like a container rather than a bag.

This is the best tasting vanilla protein I've ever had and I've tried A LOT of protein powders. It's creamy and very lightly sweet, which is my problem with most protein powder. They are usually sickeningly sweet, but not this one. It's the perfect amount of sweetness. I'm just going to buy cocoa powder if I want to switch to a chocolate base because this will be my go to shake.

First, I hate to leave reviews, especially a bad one. This is the second in my whole life. I’ve purchased this classic whey and their whey with the sunflower lecithin many times. The taste was never an issue. I don’t mind the taste of unflavored whey a bit, nor most supplements, for that matter, because it’s a small price to pay for the potential upside. This batch, however, has made me reassess this and ultimately drove me to cancelling my subscription to this product. It tastes like someone is mucking a horse stall in my mouth, like you’d imagine how the bottom of a goat manger tastes. I mixed two scoops, chugged as I usually do, and spent the next hour trying not to vomit, though in hindsight it may have been the safer option, in case this lot is tainted. I reached out to the company to ask if this lot number was recalled or if any other complaints were made, but never heard back. So I guess this is my response to having paid $60 on a tainted product that could not be refunded.

If you want the source of your whey to be organic and hormone free with grass fed cows, there are few choices to pick from. Nor Cal met those standards and even though it is expensive compared to non organic whey, this company had the best price. I don't care for their packaging. Wish they would design something easier to scoop out the powder. I take out the powder from their package and pour it into a glass jar but even so, the packaging is stiff and hard to work with.

This particular whey protein provided by Source Organic is outstanding! Prior to purchasing it I'll admit I was a little intimidated by the price, and hesitated to buy it. After reading all the good reviews, I finally decided to order some and give it a try. I went with the bulk size (2lb bag) because it's much better value than its smaller counterpart (the 1lb bag I believe). After using this protein for several weeks, I am pleased to say it has both met and exceeded my expectations. The overall quality of the protein is superb, and mixes instantly with any liquid of choice, giving it a smooth, silk-like texture (I personally use it with milk, but I have also tried it with water which works just as well). It's easy to tell after opening the bag and trying the product why it costs what it costs. It beats any competition by a mile in terms of quality, taste, and health focus. I'm somewhat of a health nut, so I was very pleased to see that this product is organic, and that it is derived from grass-fed cows that are solely raised in the states. In essence, if you can afford it, I would strongly recommend buying it. It tastes great, it's trustworthy, and is overall an amazing product for those concerned with health, and reliability. I will be a returning customer!

I have used a few chocolate protein powders and one other whey protein powder and none of them even come close to this. I have been experiencing some odd health issues and so have been trying to knock out as many sweeteners and artificial colors/flavors as possible from my diet. This stuff seemed to fit the bill, so I order the 340g amount. When I opened the package and tasted as small pinch of this whey dry, I immediately was filled with regret... I should have bought the 2 pound bag and saved some money lol. It just tastes high quality, and I will definitely be getting some more.

I ordered the smaller package to try this out. I have fussy taste buds! This product has no powdery aftertaste and mixes well with my almond milk, nuts and berries among other things. So I ordered the larger 2 lb package which serves as a great breakfast or lunch. To get an organic tasty whey protein for this price in Canada is amazing! I highly recommend it.

This stuff is outstanding. Like many, I was looking for a clean whey protein powder. I exercise frequently and require the extra protein on a daily basis. I decided to gamble on this one and I bought the 2lb package. I have tried so many powders but so many fall short in the ingredients. Not this one! And you can taste it and feel it when you consume this whey. I made a shake with almond milk and ice. It doesn't mix as well as other name brand powders but it works fine. It does taste like a creamy milk. Also blended it with oat bran and it was delicious. But I also add berries and nuts and a few drops of stevia and almond milk. I think it's worth it even with the hefty price tag. However, a 5lb bag or buying bulk would be a nice option to save some money.

Outstanding whey protein.... Recommend it to all of my patients. This whey protein tastes fresh and buttery, unlike any other I've tried. The cold process also preserves the immune-boosting properties of whey. Amazing product at a competitive price. In this case, you get what you pay for.
